No, USA media isn't "in the bag" for Obama

MSNBC Omits All Coverage From Minority Speakers at "Racist" RNC Convention

A funny thing happened on race-obsessed MSNBC tonight. The liberal network failed to give viewers coverage of the speakers who happen to be member of racial minorities.  As Francesca Chambers, Editor of Red Alert Politics, reported on August 28th:
When popular Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz, the GOP nominee for Senate, took the stage, MSNBC cut away from the Republican National Convention and the Hispanic Republican from Texas’ speech.

MSNBC stayed on commercial through former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis’ speech, as well. Davis, who recently became a Republican, is black. Then, when Puerto Rican Governor Luis Fortuno’s wife Luce’ Vela Fortuño took the stage minutes later, MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews opted to talk over the First Lady’s speech. And Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval? Noticeably missing from MSNBC, too. Mia Love, a black candidate for Congress in Utah, was also ignored by MSNBC.

Why is MSNBC trying to exclude conservative Republicans of color in their coverage?  Could it be that they are aghast that they're not on the side of the infallible Barack Obama?  Could it be because it cuts against their persistent whine that the GOP is the party of "dog whistle" politics aimed at working-class white voters?
It's irnoic since Daily Beast contributor Michael Tomasky friviously labeled this year's RNC convention as racist.
Shall we take bets on when Condi Rice's speech is interuppted by a Michelin tire commercial?

Just because a traditionally racist party decides to display a handful of minority success stories does not mean that they have changed their tune. The trick has always been to let a few in the country club and showcase a few prominent success stories so the majority can justify ignoring civil and human rights against minorities such as affirmative action(see, they made it, therefore everyone else can make it as well...what can they complain about?,we are not racists). The fact is that Msnbc showed Condi Rice and Gov. Martinez; aren't they "minorities"? Did Fox show all the minorities? No they didn't. Not defending any media network, but let's be honest about the contrast between the two networks. Msnbc has contributors from a wide range of the human population including respected Black Civil Rights and LBGT activists, prominent political scientists, professors and a slew of respected television hosts and reporters. Name one Black Civil Rights avtivist that contributes to Fox. The proof is in the pudding. Please stop the fibbing! People are not as dumb as you would like them to be. We all know that's how the checks come in, but use a little common sense.

Anonymous-Your response identifies you without me writing one word. You begin with an intentional slander, thus no shifting your position. You state all of the "talking points" of the close-minded other side. Nice language trick btw re: FOX and "let's be honest" comment.Your FOX statements indicate you are a regular FOX viewer and thus are correct with your assessment. You are correct about one thing, Americans are not dumb as indicated by the viewership of the two networks you attempt to put in their place.Nice try but does not meet the smell test.
