Low-Intensity Conflict Report #81 June 9 – 17, 2013


These reports are translated and publicized by Yehudit Tayar for Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron with the clearance and confirmation of the IDF.  Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron is a voluntary emergency medical organization with over 500 volunteer doctors, paramedics, medics who are on call 24/7 and work along with the IDF, 669 IAF Airborn Rescue, the security officers and personal throughout Yesha and the Jordan Valley, and with MDA.

We, the volunteers of Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron go out to rescue anyone who needs our emergency medical assistance; including civilians, military and Arabs also those within the PA territories. (with IDF presence) To us a life is precious and we go out at risk leaving home and family or stopping on the road to rescue anyone in need.


From the reports which we received here is a partial summary of the hundreds of attempts to murder innocent Jews during the past week;


During the past week there have been dozens of attempted murders of Jews by shooting incidents, rocks, Molotov cocktails, stabbing attempts and by miracle only 3 injured moderately.

Specification of the injured  : a motorcyclist injured in his leg from rock attack near Ofra,; 1 moderately injured from rock attack while going around the Walls of the Old City in Jerusalem, man injured moderately when attacked by Arabs on Shmuel Ben Hadia Street in Jerusalem.

Partial report of the Molotov cocktail attacks:

2 towards IDF post near Shekef, 2 at Nebe Zalach, 1 at bus at Bet Umar, 1 at Parsa Junction, 3 at Kever Rachel, 2 at Tunnel Road, 1 that hit and entered the pillbox at Shoafat, 2 at IDF Force in Azoria, 2 towards Bet Hadassah, Abud bypass north-west of Ramallah at car, Gush Etzion-Hevron Highway near Bet Umar at bus, fortunately although it hit the bus it did not explode .

*Shooting attack towards bus between IDF Base of 3rd Division and the Shomron Brigade Base

*Shooting attack towards military ambulance in Southern Hevron Hills

*Explosive Device at Border Police in Svacharah, explosive device at IDF Force at Parah Village, explosive device at Border Police force at Abu Dis

*Stabbing attack foiled at 160 Turn in Hevron and additional stabbing attack foiled at Calandia Passage

*Pistol revealed in Arab car near Rimonim

*Car overturned as a result of rock attack at the turn off of the Spring between Carmei Zur and Halhul - the car was mistakenly identified as Jewish but was in fact Arab

*During the night of 16.6 there were a number of attempts by Arabs to steal water and the water pipes were damaged in 3 places. Cubic millions of water are stolen on a regular basis.

*Bottle of paint was thrown at bus with tourists south of Shechem damaging the bus
