Betrayal of Rabin * Stupidity of a Fuel Game * Independence for Sinai!‏

Steven Shamrak

Betrayal of Rabin.
Another anniversary of the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, who signed off on the Oslo Accord, has passed. And once again the Israeli political officialdom has neglected to include Rabin's last major message about his vision of the future of Israel. These are Rabin's major points (which have been forgotten to a great extent):
* No Palestinian State: "We view the permanent solution in the framework of State of Israel which will include most of the area of the Land of Israel as it was under the rule of the British Mandate, and alongside it a Palestinian entity which will be a home to most of the Palestinian residents living in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. "We would like this to be an entity which is less than a state and which will independently run the lives of the Palestinians under its authority."
* No return to '67 borders: "The borders of the State of Israel, during the permanent solution, will be beyond the lines which existed before the Six Day War. We will not return to the 4 June 1967 lines."
* Control of Jordan Valley: "The security border of the State of Israel will be located in the Jordan Valley, in the broadest meaning of that term."
* Gush Katif as model: "The establishment of blocs of settlements in Judea and Samaria, like the one in Gush Katif."
* All settlements remain intact during interim period: "I want to remind you: we committed ourselves, that is, we came to an agreement, and committed ourselves before the Knesset, not to uproot a single settlement in the framework of the interim agreement, and not to hinder building for natural growth."
Words... Just Empty and Useless Words! On Sunday Interim Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said: "The responsibility for the shattering of the calm and the creation of a situation of prolonged and repeated violence in the south of the country is entirely on Hamas and the other terror groups in Gaza"... "We have taken action and will continue to take action in order to make sure that this 'calm' does not turn against the citizens of Israel." Olmert said that he had asked the heads of Israeli security bodies to immediately draw up plans and present the government with options for action to end the Islamists' 17-month-old rule in the Gaza Strip. (Palestinian Authority is a network of terrorist organizations serving the need of Islamic expansionism. Hamas was democratically elected by terror-infested population, which must be removed like cancer from Jewish land! Do you know a good oncologist?)
International Hypocrisy is still Alive and Flourishing. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon said that Israel's response to the incessant firing of rockets from the Gaza Strip, in which crossings to the area were closed, was "unacceptable" and "increases civilian suffering" Oxfam: "World must exercise political might to break blockade." -What about the suffering of Israeli civilians in the endless life in horror from terror? This is never a concern for international anti-Semites! - On Friday nearly 20 rockets were fired into southern Israel, including four Grad-type Katyushas that landed in Ashkelon. Some 140 rockets and mortars have been fired from Gaza at Israel.
Food for Thought:When an experiment has failed, in order to succeed, there is a need to review it and change direction. Soon Israeli voter will have an opportunity to do so! Will they do it?- Steven Shamrak

Bigoted Worries. French President Nicolas Sarkozy, as current rotating president of the European Union, sent a message to the Israeli authorities calling the demolitions ''illegal under international law'' and the Swiss Foreign Ministry demanded that Israel immediately halt the demolitions, saying they violate the Geneva Conventions' rules. (They do not worry when Jewish homes, they call them "settlements", are being destroyed by the Israeli government and when 8,500 Jews were deported from Gaza, which are also acts ''illegal under international law''. And they definitely do not protest, in the past and present, when Jews are killed!)
Stupidity of a Fuel Game. Defense Minister Ehud Barak has ordered small amounts of fuel to be sent to Gaza, mostly heating oil for the power station there. (Why cut the fuel supply, knowing that it will be restored again? It is only creates negative publicity and portrays Israel as a wimp. The fuel tap must remain off until Gilad Shalit is free!)

Israel Poisoned Arafat? Former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat died four years ago this week, allegedly from AIDS in France - a country well know for its privacy laws. Interestingly, there was no autopsy conducted after his death! But, Arafat nephew Mr Qidwa, who heads the Yasser Arafat foundation, is still accusing Israel of poisoning Arafat, who was known among 'the friends' as a homosexual and paraphiliac!
UNRWA Charade. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinians said on Tuesday that it would suspend its food aid to 750,000 Gazawis if Israel maintains the closure of its crossing points with Gaza. (There were no such warnings after rocket attacks on Israel. Isn't it time to end the ‘Palestinian Refugees' charade after 60 years?)

Deceit in the Name of Political Survival
. Tzipi Livni, the leader of ruling party Kadima, distanced herself from outgoing PM Ehud Olmert's recipe for peace. She said: "We can carry out negotiations my way without reaching the points presented by the outgoing Prime Minister,"

Another Humiliation for Israel.Mahmoud Abbas proudly proclaimed last Tuesday that he had rejected again a peace deal with Israel. Abbas has repeatedly rejected peace initiatives and compromise deals offered by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, the most recent of which included an offer to transfer to the PA sovereignty over 95 percent of Judea and Samaria. (Stop humiliating Israel by offering Jewish land to the enemy! So far, they have offered nothing but terror, because they'll be happy only after Israel disappear.)

Quote of the Week:
''If we are determined to maintain the Jewish and democratic character of the state of Israel, we have no choice but to give up Arab districts of Jerusalem and return to the 1967 borders, with several indispensable modifications.'' said Ehud Olmert a week ago. - Will somebody send this sick and delusional person for psychiatric care? Removing the enemy population from Jewish land is the only hope for peace in Israel. Everything else has failed!

Independence for Sinai! Around 1,000 armed young Bedouin tribesmen have been holding Egyptian positions along the Sinai-Israeli border south of Rafah to siege. The besiegers, mostly Tarabin, Azazme and Tihama tribesmen, have shut the troops in and reinforcements and supplies out. Egyptian General Mohammed Shaarawai and 50 soldiers have been taken hostage until the insurrectionists' demands are met. (Egypt took control over Sinai in 1922 as part of the Suez canal deal. There are 250,000 people, mostly Bedouins and so-called Palestinians, living here. Isn't it time for independence for Sinai?)

Great Progress?President Shimon Peres said on Wednesday that his speech to a UN conference on religions marked the first time that "a Saudi king stayed in the hall to listen to an Israeli representative's speech."

Delusional Animosity. Top PA officials continue to deny Israel's connection to Judaism's most sacred spot in the world - the Temple Mount. The latest to do so is Ahmed Qurei, known also as Abu Ala, who has been leading the PA negotiations with Israel. Qurei recently said, "Israeli occupation authorities are trying to find a so-called Jewish historical connection between Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, but all these attempts will fail. The [Temple Mount] is 100 percent Muslim." (The Temple Mount is the area of Mount Moriah where Abraham offered up his son in sacrifice. Here King Solomon built the First Jewish Temple almost 3,000 years ago. So, whose place is it? We want it all back!)
Unity Palestinian Style. The Hamas terrorist organization banned impromptu parades marking the fourth anniversary of the death of PLO terror leader Yasser Arafat last Tuesday. Hamas forces told residents to remove Fatah flags and posters around the region and detained homeowners who refused to comply with the action, using force.
Hypocrisy of the 'Loaded' Headlines:"Israel needs to show it is serious about peace"- gulf-news.com - It is not required and there are no demands that Arab countries and fake Palestinians display any interest in achieving peace with Israel!
Out of Control Absurdity! A soldier is accused of yawning loudly during the official State Memorial Ceremony for Oslo architect Yitzhak Rabin, and was sent to spend three weeks in a military jail. (If only the IDF was so prompt and decisive in dealing with enemies!)
The Best Decision so Far. The diplomatic Quartet of nations - comprised of the US, Russia, the United Nations and European Union - agreed to avoid interfering in ongoing talks between Israel and the PA after U.S. President George W. Bush leaves office. (Next step is to let Israel end occupation of Jewish land by Arabs!)
Political Disgrace. Police questioned Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert week ago in connection with one of the multiple corruption probes. The questioning focused on suspicions that Olmert double- and triple-billed travel expenses, pocketing the extra money. The prime minister is also suspected of carrying out questionable real estate deals and illicitly taking tens of thousands of dollars in cash from a Jewish American businessman. (It is a disgrace that Olmert is still allowed to be the prime minister of Israel! Israel needs new political system and truly dedicated Jewish national leaders must be elected. The stupidity of ‘Political correctness' based on self-hate and corruption must end!)
