What Process - They Want It All!

The Norwegian Fafo institute, which sponsored the 1993 Oslo Framework accords decided to find out how the Palestinians felt about this solution. Its main discovery was that a majority, 53 percent, of Palestinians, is against two states. This figure breaks down into 33 percent, who opt for the annihilation of the state of Israel, whether by political means or force of arms - to be replaced by a single Islamic republic on all parts of the country; and 20 percent, which favours a united Israeli-Palestinian state, to be eventually engulfed by the latter population. Publication of these findings by the Fafo Institute for Applied International Studies, which is supported by the Norwegian foreign ministry and respected by European Middle East policy-makers, indicates that its researchers have given up on the Oslo Accords and the two-state goal pursued by Washington. (I am surprised by not the result of the poll but that the study was actually published, knowing the history of international pressure on Israel.)

The 2002 Saudi Initiative, as it has come to be known, calls for: 1) full Israeli withdrawal from all lands under Jewish sovereignty since 1967, including Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and all of Judea and Samaria; 2) Israeli agreement to accept Arab war refugees; 3) Israeli acceptance of a Palestinian Arab state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, with Jerusalem as its capital. In exchange, the Arab states would agree to enter into a peace agreement with Israel, and "consider the Arab-Israeli conflict ended."

Blunt but Precise. Foreign Minister of Israel Avigdor Lieberman stood by statements he made not long ago: The world "should not stand over us with a stopwatch." (What country would tolerate such 'intensive' interference in its affairs?) "The policy we formulate will fit our world view, as the voters wanted in the elections." "We were not partners in the Olmert government... or Sharon's Disengagement government... These governments brought results that were the opposite of what they hoped for. Terrorism was not defeated (but has risen), Hamas seized power, two Arab states - Qatar and Mauritania - cut ties with us. There is a regression (which was predicted) and we're in a 16-year dead end."

Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak

It sounds like nothing has changed since the destruction of the Second Temple. The enemies of Jewish people are "at the door of Jerusalem", but Jews are fighting and hating each other. There is no leadership, just internal skirmishing at it's best! Instead of uniting Jews behind the Jewish national goal - Eretz-Israel, we are hiding behind the little 'feel-good' projects, overplaying their importance. Shame on you Jews - religious and secular, the ones who pretend that they care and the apathetic ones!

There are no Innocent Victims Among Our Enemies. Israeli border police have shot dead an armed 16-year-old Arab Israeli girl, a Bedouin high school student. Israeli officials said the girl had opened fire at a guard post at an Israeli base near Beersheva. (They are all responsible for terror and hate against Jews!)

Time is Never Right for Arabs. Jordan has rejected a bid by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to visit Amman to develop relations between Israel and its eastern neighbour. The Jordanian ambassador to Israel told the prime minister that conditions were not right for a visit right now. (King Abdullah and Mubarak are neither eager to visit Jerusalem nor welcome Israeli Prime ministers in their countries. 'Great' peace partners!)

US Financing Islamic A-bomb. Iran and Syria received millions of dollars from a US-backed program that promotes the peaceful use of nuclear energy. Iran received more than $15 million from 1997 to 2007, while Syria received $14 million. Two other states designated by the United States as terrorism sponsors, Cuba and Sudan, each received more than $11 million. The US oversight of the program very weak. (Millions of the US taxpayers' dollars flow uncontrollably into states that sponsor international Islamic terrorism and commit genocide, freeing and adding to funds for their nuclear weapon programs!)

In Case You Forgot. Hamas leader Ismael Haniya reasserted his faction's principled refusal to recognize Israel: "We will not cave in to pressure, we will not betray our people's trust, we will not recognize the illegitimate Zionist entity. This has always been our stance, and it will never change." Haniya suggested that when it comes to recognizing Israel, the government of Abbas represented only itself and not the entire PA Arab population.

Quote of the Week: ''People living in other countries do not understand the suffering of Israelis living in the south who wake up every morning with the threat of rocket attacks. If they woke up one morning with an Israeli response, they wouldn't know what hit them.'' - Israel foreign affairs ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor.

Jews from Former Soviet are Paying Back. Five Russian billionaires have contributed $20 million to try to overcome lack of Jewish identity. The billionaires have formed the Genesis Philanthropy Group, which has awarded a large grant to Brandeis University, considered a bastion of many Jewish students who are pro-Arab and detached from Jewish traditions.

Common Trend of Islamization of Europe. Sweden today is being rocked by a large influx of Muslim immigrants and the growth of radical Islam. Malmo is Sweden's 3rd largest city and a major epicentre of the Islamization of Europe. Wide-open immigration policies have changed Sweden and have made Malmo, which is now one-quarter Muslim, one of the most racially divided cities in Europe. Most Muslim immigrants are concentrated in one district, where the male unemployment rate is 82 percent. Crime affects one of three families in the city and rape has tripled in 20 years. In one housing project in the district, fire and emergency workers will no longer enter without police protection.

Good and Respectful Neighbour? The chief judge of the Palestinian Authority has reminded Arabs that they face death if caught selling homes to Jews. The offence is considered "high treason". Several Arabs have been executed, often without trial, for selling their homes to Jews. Many homes and property have been sold but remain occupied by Arabs, waiting for an advantageous time to leave.

Self-serving Traitor has Revealed Herself. Tzipi Livni, who was the Israel's top negotiator in the so-called peace talks and now as a leader of the political opposition is a useless, anti-Israel nuisance: "What happened yesterday is that the Israeli government announced that Israel isn't relevant, isn't a (peace) partner." (Could she name at least one true peace partner on the other side? What, but more rocket attacks, loss of Jewish lives and suffering, have her years of negotiations brought to Israel?)

Another Bogus Allegation is Dispelled. The Israeli army has closed an investigation into reports that soldiers wantonly killed Palestinians in Gaza. It was concluded that many of the soldiers' allegations were "based on rumours and not first-hand experience", and many had been "purposely exaggerated and made extreme, in order to make a (political) point with the . . . conference".

UNRWA Knowingly Supports PA's Terrorists. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency has issued a warning to employees in Gaza who belong to Fatah, Hamas and other terrorist groups. Employees' open political affiliation with terrorist groups is "worrisome" and must stop, said UNRWA's Gaza director, John Ging. The warning came shortly after Hamas-affiliated employees swept the UNRWA union elections. 11,000 employees voted in the union elections. (For many years UNRWA has supported by employment the members of terrorist organizations, subsidising terror against Israel!)

Hypocricy of the Headlines.

"Israel rejects Palestinian peace talks" - Washington Times - What Avigdor Lieberman said was that before talking about anything else, "Palestinians must take verifiable steps to end attacks against Israelis." Israel does not reject peace, just the hypocrisy of the current 'peace process'!

"Israel's return to "Road Map" a blow to Palestinians" - Reuters - Why? One does not build house without foundations! Didn't the Palestinian Authority promise to recognize Israel and stop terror attacks as the first and main step toward peace? If they have not kept their promises, what is the point of further negotiations and concessions? (The roadmap - Text)

Blackmail by 'Peace' with NO Peace.

1) Syrian President Bashar Assad said his country would regain the Golan Heights by "peace or war" and affirmed Syria's ties to Iran, in an interview with a Qatari newspaper that was published on Thursday. He said: "The day must come and we will liberate (the Golan Heights) by peace or war. "When a citizen loses hope, he walks toward 'the resistance' in one way or another." The word "Resistance" is a code word for violence and terror and is used to describe activities of groups such as Hamas in the Palestinian territories and Hizbullah.

2) Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas told reporters in Iraq on Sunday that the Netanyahu government must halt all building in Judea and Samaria and accept the establishment of a new PA state as conditions for the resumption of negotiations, disregarding Binyamin Netanyahu's call for "peace and security."
