Leader Cautions Politicians to Watch Iranian Nation's Redlines

TEHRAN (FNA)- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei cautioned the country's politicians to be watchful of their actions and avoid any move which resembles enemies' measures and policies and could bring them close to the sworn enemies of the Islamic Republic."Any move which angers the sworn enemies of the nation and the Islamic Republic, i.e. the world arrogance and Zionism, is a correct move on the right path," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing a large and fervent congregation of the people in the northern Iranian city of Chalous.

"And any move or path which makes them (enemies) glad and excited and is emphasized in their propaganda and policies is shows a tilted, incorrect path," the Leader added.

Following the announcement of the election results, supporters of the defeated candidate Mir-Hossein Mousavi - who rejected the results - took to the streets of Tehran in daily rallies.

A large number of Iranian politicians slammed Mousavi for encouraging the unrests, cautioning him that he was pushing the country into tumult and chaos which would serve no one's interests but those of the enemies of the Islamic Republic.

Ayatollah Khamenei further pointed to the high public turnout in Iran's June 12 presidential election, and said, "The 85 percent participation of the nation in the election made Muslim nations glad."

The Leader underlined that even 30 years after the Revolution, Iran's Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic still serve as a role model for many world nations which adore this country.

"When the enemies embarked on scattering rumors, insulting (Iranian officials) and stirring unrests in a part of the country to undermine this great presence and great political victory (of the Iranian nation in the presidential election), lovers of the Islamic Republic grew anxious. And this fact is an indication of the Muslim world's continued enthusiasm and interest in the Islamic Republic's thoughts even 30 years after the establishment of the Islamic Republic."

Ayatollah Khamenei wrapped up his two-day tour of northern Iran and returned to Tehran on Wednesday.

On the first leg of his tour on Tuesday, the Supreme Leader addressed officers and cadets at the Imam Khomeini Navy College in the northern city of Noshahr and met local people and officials.

The Navy personnel launched maritime exercises in the presence of the Supreme Leader on Tuesday.

Comment: This is clear-the motivation and the actions taken and to be taken. "Anger our enemies, it is the correct path"-need it be said any clearer? Do you doubt their intentions? Do you refuse to accept th eprovocations? Why?
