Silence is not an option

I think the time to stand up for who we are and tell the world what we stand for is now, not later. Israelis and Jews must now get our act together. We must pay more attention to the enemy around us and the one from within and rebuttal them. The self-loathing, self hating Jews—including Israelis who detest Israel yet live there--are more dangerous to the state than the Arabs. They are at the forefront of almost every campaign to undermine, denigrate and defame the State of Israel and the Jewish people and even go as far as calling for Israel’s demise by boycotting it.

There is a saying that Jews’ worst enemy is Jews themselves. Such "Jews" are a perpetual phenomenon. They are maintaining ancient “tradition.” This “tradition” goes back to the Mmedieval time when Jews allowed themselves to be used as instrument for Christian venomous anti-Semitic campaigns and more recent when communist Jews applauded the murderous policies of Stalin and justified the Soviet state-sponsored anti-Semitism practices. Now they call themselves progressive and post-Zionist Israelis and from Israeli universities podiums, Israeli media screens and newspapers, like Al-Ha’aretz, pages they are constantly calling for boycotts on Israel or to end the Jewishness and the Zionistic sentiments of the State of Israel. They are successful in adding fuel to the climate of hostility against Israel, emboldening the Arabs and other Israel’s foes and are aiding Israel’s enemy to advance their goals on account of the Jewish State of Israel and Jews.

The current global anti-Semitism manifestations is the most audacious we have seen since the Nazi era. Only that now the venom spewed is against Israel that has assumed the traditional role of Jews being accused of representing the source of all the woes and plagues of mankind.

We must stop ignoring the self-loathing Jews and Israelis who occupy key roles in the campaigns to delegitimize, demonize and embarrass our state and our people. Time to put them in their place.

Freedom of expression has its limits. Though it enables these “Jews” to continue expressing their vile attacks on their own people, it is high time that they are exposed and marginalized from mainstream Jewish life and become a pariah. It is time to silence them!

We must open every Jew’s eye. All Jews, young or old, both in Israel and in the Diaspora, must be taught to be aware of the hypocrisy, double standards and extreme bias which are being applied against their people. Despite the global campaign to defame and demonize the State of Israel and the Jewish people, we must ensure that our people, wherever they are, retain pride and dignity and are conscious that when it comes to respecting the sanctity of life and upholding human rights, the Jewish State and the Jewish people are a role model to the entire world.

The world must understand that the Jewish State of Israel will not stand by with folded arms and allow to be bashed undermined and demonized or enable the barbarians at its gates to spill innocent Jewish blood.

We do not need to explain; we do not need Hasbara; we do not need to apologize, rather go on the offense and on the attack. Tit for tat and what is good for the goose—all those who attack us, bash us, lie about us, revise modern Israel and our Jewish history, all of Israel’s foes—is good for the gander—Israel and Jews.

Going on the offense means vigorously exposing the prejudice and double standards of the international community. It means exposing the evil’s nature and the crude bias of the UN and its Human Rights Council and the despicable behavior of the NGO human rights bodies all have adopted Israel-bashing as their vocation.

To fight you have to put fighters on the front line. Therefore, the Israeli government must replace its current UN Ambassador Gabriela Shalev with more charismatic personality ambassador like previous Ambassadors Dore Gold (1997-1999) or Dan Gillerman (2003-2008).

The era of undermining Israel’s legitimacy and its right to exists ended!

We, Israelis and Jews, are what we are; we are good for ourselves just like any other nation is good for itself. The only one we redeem ourselves in front is our God. We owe the world no apology for who we are. We do not apologize for living! Our God chose us as his children and gave us the Holy Land to make our home and no one in the world has the power to undermine the God of the Jews not even self loathing Israelis and self-hating Jews, never mind all the other 70 nations of the world.
