A message from President al-Assad to Ahmedinejad conveyed by al-Moallem

Tehran, (SANA)-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad on Monday received a message from President Bashar al-Assad on bilateral relations between the two states and the latest developments in the region.
The message was conveyed by Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem during a meeting with President Ahmedinejad who expressed best compliments to President al-Assad.
Iranian President showed commitment to deepen and develop ties between both countries in all fields, underlining the importance of raising coordination and consultation between the Syrian and Iranian leaderships in the interest of the two states and region.
Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad attended the meeting.
Earlier, Minister al-Moallem chaired Syria's delegation to the Ministerial meeting of Non-Aligned Countries opened in Tehran today.
In a speech at the meeting, President Ahmedinejad criticized countries that claim protecting human rights and at the same time violates those rights through policies and practices which contradict human rights' law and convention.
