There are two ends to a table. On each end one invited party will be sitting. For 100 years Israel has been sitting at one end of the table waiting for the invited party, the Arabs, later on renamed themselves, Palestinians, to arrive and it is still waiting for the guest to arrive. In order to try seducing the Arabs to arrive to the dinner feast, Israel has been forced to cook, again and again, different meals with a different menu each time. There were many meals prepared, some more significant than others. Some meals were served but were never consumed, thus remained cold and others caused the Arabs belly ache from food poisoning:
In 1947 the UN passed a Resolution to partition the original legal land of the State of Israel to which the Arabs said no to Israel’s comradely dinner invitation.
The 1993 Oslo Accords dinner was monumental, attended by the Noble Prize Laureates Yitzchak Rabin and Yasser Arafat but the Arabs ended up with food poisoning and belly ache and have never forgiven the Israelis for that.
In the 1995 Aspen Institute Wye River Conference Centers near Wye River, Maryland, signed in 1998 as The Wye River Memorandum between Israel and the Palestine Authority. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu set on one side of the dinner table and on the other end the Keffyia terrorist Yasser Arafat; dinner was served by USA President William (Bill) Jefferson Clinton. The Conference dinner gave Arafat such belly ache so as revenge he launched his 2000 intifada on Israel. Though Clinton spilt boiling hot coffee on Netanyahu that melted his Prime Minister tenure, the Israel Parliament, the Knesset, approved the Wye River Memorandum by a vote of 75-19 and they are still sitting at the dinner table wondering to where their guest disappeared.
In 2000 Ehud Barak partook in the Camp David Dinner Summit with terrorist Yasser Arafat who set across at the end of the dinner table. USA President Bill Clinton served a lousy dinner which was meant to finally resolve the conflict the Arab-“Palestinian” have with the Israelis. Again, the Arabs ended up with a pain in their full of poisonous food belly and at more odds with Israel.
In the 2002 "road map" for peace plan was held to try again resolving the conflict the Arab-“Palestinians” have with the tiny State of Israel. This time it was U.S. President George W. Bush who served the dinner. He invited the European Union, Russia, and the United Nations, with the USA known as the "quartet", to dine with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon at one end of the table and Palestinian mastermind terrorist Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas-Anu Mazen at the other end. Sharon’s Cabinet 'approved' the road map dinner menu but with reservations. The move reminded some Cabinet members of the political tactic employed by the US Senate to defeat the ratification of the Versailles Peace Treaty. The attendees of the Road Map dinner left the table without finishing their meal and the plan remained unaccomplished.
Then there are two ends to a rope and one can hang oneself from one end only. I see Israel hanging itself from one end of the quest for 'peace' negotiation’s rope while the Arabs are holding the other end lifting the rope slowly.
What am I getting at?!
Israel is negotiating its future with an empty chair at the other end of the table and with a noose around its neck. There is no partner to peace to dine with but there is an Arab executioner tightening the noose around the Jewish Nation’s neck.
Now is the best time then ever for Israelis and Jews to finally be candid with themselves and admit for once and for all that they have never really negotiated with the Arabs; it only tried in vain to appease them. It only gave in to them, made painful concessions to them and sacrificed immensely. What did they do in return is the Arabs killed more of Jews; they took, and took and took all Israel gave them without them making one concession, without them giving up an inch, without compromising or reciprocating. It is one way road to no where for Israel and one way road to winning at the table for the Arabs.
Wake up Israel and finally take the blinds off to admit who you call a ‘peace’ partner:
On Israel’s south-west border is Gaza Strip, managed and terrorized by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, unequivocally demand the total destruction of the Jewish state and the physical extermination of Jews. East of Tel-Aviv, in what the Arabs call the ‘West Bank’, is the Palestinian Authority (PA)-Fatah, headed by Mahmoud Abbas-Anu Mazen, a Holocaust denier and one of the masterminds of the 1972 massacre of 11 members of the Israeli Olympic Team. While the world has adopted the nothing that the PA is a moderate partner for peace with Israel Abbas speaks with a forked tongue, and to this day still sanctifies suicide bombers as martyrs and provides their families with state pensions. Additionally, the PA-controlled media, its education system and mosques continue to promote the most abhorrent anti-Semitism and demand the dissolution of the Jewish state.
If there was any life in the peace process, it appears that the Barack Hussein Obama USA administration killed it by an ill advised overreach to the Arabs. Additionally, in spite and despite of the clear facts on the ground, most European states and to an extent the USA, all fully aware of these realities, apply double standards against the Jewish state. They either applauded or stood by while the Arabs and their allies accused Israel of whatever came to mind, last is committing war crimes in Gaza, despite the fact that the operation against Hamas was only launched after thousands of missiles and rockets had been directed at Israeli civilians for years. None of these countries would have tolerated one rocket coming from across their border and landing on civilian population.
On 12, May 2003 Israel rejected the main Road Map requirement, which was a settlement freeze. Former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon rejected it as an impossible task due to the need for Jews living in Shomron and Yehuda to build new houses and start families. At that time Ariel Sharon asked then US Secretary of State Colin Powell the most poignant question, "What do you want, for a pregnant woman to have an abortion just because she is a settler?" On December 2009 Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu announced construction freeze in Yehuda and Shomron because he could not ask the same question. This freeze has caused a national uproar, much resentment among his Likud party members and brought about lawsuits against this flagrant decision. What will such construction freeze achieve but weakening Israel’s position, breaking the national unity the Netanyahu government managed to have for a delusional brief moment and bring about endless Arab blackmailing for more unilateral concessions, but no peace in sight.
Peace is a paradox; to have peace one must be prepared for war. Just like happiness, the worst possible way to go about finding peace, is by going out and looking for it. To pursue peace is to deliver a signal of weakness that all but invites war! One must be willing to have peace when war is over but one must also be willing to fight when peace can no longer avail. There is nothing more pathetic as leaders of a free nation crawling before tyrants, thugs and terrorists in search of peace! The only way to stop a war is to demonstrate that it will not succeed and as long as people in Israel insist that the fault lies not in their enemies, but in them, there will be no peace.
I do not believe Israel has a partner to peace; it has a partner to pieces of Israel until it vanishes. Israel cannot get support and a fair trial anywhere; therefore it must take all measures to survive within totally secured borders.
In one of his articles Isi Leibler asked whether Israelis have blinded themselves to the extent that they are like the inmates in a lunatic asylum insisting that everybody other than them are insane.
In his 1923 ‘The Iron Wall’ essay Ze'ev Jabotinsky wrote: “It is incredible what political simpletons Jews are. They shut their eyes to one of the most elementary rules of life, that you must not meet halfway those who do not want to meet you.” Tragically it is so true; Israel is courting the Arab-“Palestinian” bride and for her, the diamond in the engaging ring is never large enough. It is clear that the bride will accept the ring and the engagement commitment only when its size of the diamond will be the size of the state of Israel as we know it to be today.
I ask the audience: what is Israel doing to save itself from its demise by the Arabs and from its own itself destruction? It appears much of nothing. Israel only continues its head spinning slalom to a total demise.
Isn’t now best time then ever for Israelis and Jews to finally admit that “negotiations”—what negotiations?—with the Arabs aka Arab-Palestinians have gone and will go nowhere? It now best time then ever for Israelis and Jews to finally admit that the quest for peace must be over.
Unless Israel, with the support of all Jews, makes a total reversal of thinking and actions Israel will continue giving up and giving in until there is nothing more to give! If Israel continues in the path it is now on, the next war terms, and do not for one moment think there will not be another war, will be increasingly unfavorable for Israel!
Real peace, dear friends, depends on us and us only! Are we willing to really act in self preservation or it is just lip service? Israel must not make ‘peace’ until conditions are favorable to Israel and Israel only!
