Security guns lost or stolen? American Airlines, what did you do with PM's security detail's guns?

GS Don Morris, Ph.D.

This is the beginning of a series of reports, I suspect! PM Netanyahu's security detail was minus some of their weapons upon arrival in Washington DC. The intitial report to the media was they weapons were "lost" by American Airlines. The case with the "missing weapons" did not arrive so goes the WSJ report. Well, I have information this is not true-here goes what I do know. The security detail landed in NY on an El Al plane as is standard operational procedure. Curiously, these same individuals were "put on" a commuter airplane (American Air Eagle plane) to DC and received less than professional behavior from USA personnel. These same men were separated from their weapons-again a procedure that is unusual at best. It is not true as has been reported by NBC via YNET (see Hebrew edition)that individuals cannot carry weapons on a plane.

The gun cases were sent to LAX rather than DC. When the gun cases were opened, 4 guns were missing-they were stolen!! Finger prints on the case were wiped clean. My sources tell me that generally the procedure for checking a detail's weapons was up to State Department not TSA. Usually a State department official greats foreign dignitaries upon arrival with State dept. agents with them. Secret Service usually doesn't get involved until D.C.-TSA does not get involved. Furthermore, I'm told that this is a new procedure being promoted by the Obama Administration. I await word responding whether or not this new protocol is being applied to all other nation's secuity details.

I will follow up on this information as it is made available. There is much more behind this so-called incident.
