Stop the Incitement - Time Magazine Cover Story‏

Sample letter-consider joining the campaign

Re.: Stop the Incitement
One September 13, 2010 the Time came out with its edition its cover depicted a light blue Star of David, the Jewish symbol, with the despicable and twisted headline – we, Jews, call it anti-Semitism - "Why Israel Doesn't Care About Peace." The accompanying story played on the old stereotypes of Jews, in this case, Israelis, who care more about making money and enjoying self-indulging lifestyles than about anything else. However, the Time elected to ignore that in reality, it is Israel, not the Arabs, that cares about making peace and it has proven it, time and time again for 62 years, while nothing changed with the Arabs' attitude since they declared their first war on the sovereign Jewish State in 1948. Does the Time expect that Israel will put its collective life on hold until the Arabs decide to mean peace and act they are all for peace?
These past 62 years have been nothing but ONE LONG WAR for Israel with several ceasefires. For 62 long years Israelis wake up each day wondering when will one, or several, of their neighbors, attack them again, while they never once attacked, or called for war on any Arab country! For 62 years Israelis go to sleep each night thanking their God, "we were not attacked today".
However, the truth about Israel is inconvenient for a publication such as the Time. The incitement against Israel is much more exciting.
Let us take a look closer and let it be known who does not want peace:
1. IN THEIR OWN WORDS: PLO ambassador in Lebanon: "Peace talks are stage in delegitimizing 'rebellious, racist' Israel." (http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=3188)
2. IN THEIR OWN WORDS: PA TV: "Jews praying at Western Wall are 'sin and filth'" (http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=3112)
3. IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Killing of Israelis must be timed just right, says PA (http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=3125)
4. IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Song broadcast on PA TV: Pull the trigger - redeem the country. (http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=3180)
So, how about the Time publishes an article, in which it calls for the entire Moslem and Arab world to END the incitement against the USA, the West and non-Moslems, but most importantly, let the article call on the PLO, Fatah, the Palestinian Authority (PA), the PA president Mahmud Abbas and the PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad to end all incitement against Israel and Jews. Furthermore, how about the article calling on the Obama administration that has been pummeling Israel, not the Arabs, to make concessions to achieve peace, to stand by its declared and official policy, it has endorsed but never enforced: "END the INCITEMENT!"

Without ending the incitement, there will be NO peace! And Israel will continue growing and thriving and contributing to the betterness of the world and Israelis will continue making their country a success story. They will not stop sitting on the beaches enjoying the life they were given in their ancient Jewish Homeland AND will not stop wondering, why does the world blame them for not desiring peace they want so much while the world is not putting the blame on the Arabs, who declared the war on Israel and who tell the world, IN THEIR WORDS, they do not want nor will they ever deliver peace until Israel is vanquished!
Enough of the lies, Time magazine; end your and with it the Moslem-Arab world incitement against Israel.
