An attempt is made to share the truth regarding issues concerning Israel and her right to exist as a Jewish nation. This blog has expanded to present information about radical Islam and its potential impact upon Israel and the West. Yes, I do mix in a bit of opinion from time to time.

Lawsuit Targets PA Arabs who Work for Jews

Note: This is the Arabs doing this to their fellow Arab brothers, fellow "Palestinians-making sure they cannot make a living-who cares about the workers-Israel does my friends, not those arrogant leaders in ramallah-this"worker cleansing aka worker apartheid"
A lawsuit filed last week in a Palestinian Authority court targets PA Arabs who work for Israeli Jews in Judea and Samaria. The suit was filed by "public figures" in the town of Tubas, according to the Bethlehem-based Maan news agency.
The plaintiffs hope the court will declare that Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are illegal, and that PA workers employed there have violated their right to property. In May, PA leaders told Arabs in Judea and Samaria that they are no longer allowed to work for Israeli employers located east of the 1949 armistice line, in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem. The roughly 25,000 PA Arabs currently working for Jews in Judea and Samaria were told that they must quit their jobs.
PA officials have stated that they will not begin enforcing the new law until 2011.
The PA Arab employees affected by the boycott represent almost 10 percent of the total PA workforce. According to PA officials, another 200,000 Arabs living in Judea and Samaria are unemployed.
The General Union for Palestinian Workers has called on the PA to push off enforcement of the boycott until new jobs can be found for affected workers.
David HaIvri, spokesman for the Samaria Council, warned the PA and those filing the lawsuit that their attempts to create a labor boycott would hurt only themselves. "PA harassment of local Arab workers threatens the income and well-being of the local Arab, but will not halt the building and development in the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria," he said.
"Honest Arab leadership would acknowledge the great benefits of the development of Jewish communities throughout Judea and Samaria," HaIvri added. "Our government has provided sophisticated infrastructure, roads, electric and water as well as security and emergency services that benefit the Arab population as well as our own. Our building and industry provide jobs and salaries that are more attractive then what their own government has done with all of the millions of foreign aid that has been poured into their economy with no real benefit to their public."
Aside from demanding that PA workers quit jobs for Judea and Samaria Jews, the PA has also imposed a boycott of goods created by Israeli factories in Judea and Samaria, and is demanding that Jews living in the region not be allowed to carry out any kind of construction, even within existing city lines.
