AVIVA & NOAM SHALIT DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEIR SON IS.
GILAD SHALIT
WAS KIDNAPPED BY HAMAS ON JUNE 25, 2006. HE WAS JUST 19 YEARS OLD. FACTS:
HAMAS HAS REFUSED REQUESTS FROM THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE RED CROSS TO ALLOW THE ICRC TO VISIT GILAD, WHICH IS CONTRARY TO INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW!

HAMAS HAS ALLOWED ONLY THREE LETTERS AND ONE VIOICE MESSAGE FROM GILAD TO HIS FAMILY. A VIDEO WAS SENT SEPTEMBER 14, 2009 AFTER ISRAEL RELEASED 20 FEMALE PALESTINIAN PRISONERS. LAWS OF WAR CALL FOR REGULAR CONTACTS WITH FAMILY MEMBERS.

Gilad Shalit is an Israeli soldier who was kidnapped by Hamas in a raid into Israel on June 25, 2006. He was just 19 years old. In the last four years Gilad's family has received only three letters and one voice message from him. Under International Humanitarian Law Gilad is entitled to regular and unconditional contacts with his family. Hamas is violating the Third Geneva Convention Article 13, the right to humane treatment; Article 23, the right to have knowledge of a POW's location; and Article 126, the right to unfettered access to the Red Cross. Hamas has refused repeated requests from the International Committee of the Red Cross to allow their organization to visit Gilad to ascertain his conditions of detention and treatment.
