MEMRI
The English-language website shariah4america.com is a website advocating the establishment of a global Islamic caliphate and shariah law in the United States. It features articles and graphics detailing the dismantling of American and international institutions, such as the United Nations and the White House; American monuments, such as the Statue of Liberty and the Washington Monument; and details the various steps that will take place in economics, law, and foreign policy after the establishment of an "Islamic state."
The website is apparently run by the British Islamist Sheikh Anjem Choudary, who is prominently featured on the various pages. Choudary headed the British group "Islam 4 UK" until it was proscribed as a terrorist organization in 2010. He has also taken part in the activities of "Shariah 4 Belgium an Islamist group calling for the establishment of Shariah law in Belgium and Holland.
The website also features Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad, a Syrian born Islamist cleric who lived in the U.K. for nearly 20 years before leaving for Lebanon. He is currently banned from returning.
The website's IP address is 209.15.238.85, and it is hosted by an Atlanta-based web hosting company. Following is a description of the website's content:
The website's home page includes a banner featuring the text: "Shariah 4 America. A call for revolution" and an image of the American flag in the shape of the continental U.S. being taken over by the banner of Islam. The bottom part of the page features the text: "Communism is dead. Capitalism is dying. Islam is the solution."
The website muslimsagainstcrusades.com, which belongs to the group calling itself "Muslims Against the Crusades" (MAC), has posted on its main page an open letter to Prince William on the subject of his upcoming wedding, set for April 29, 2011. The letter criticizes Prince William for his "direct involvement with the murderous British military," and threatens that his wedding day will be turned into a "nightmare" unless he "withdraw[s] from the crusader British military and give[s] up all affiliation to the tyrannical British Empire."
The MAC group took part in a protest against British troops on March 28, 2011, in Barking, Essex. However, the group has been known in the past in harassing British soldiers and holding anti-Western rallies.
The group's website shows images of the British royal family, with the word "Crusaders" appearing in the middle. It also features a clock counting down to wedding day, and images of the Union Jack and St. George's Cross and of the crown engulfed in flames.
Following Implementation of Niqab Ban, Members of Jihadist Forums Threaten War on France

Members on jihadist forums reacted with fury to the implementation of the French "niqab law" (also referred to as the "burqa law"), which bans the full concealment of the face in public and came into force on April 11. The forum members called to take revenge on France and threatened attacks on it. The following are examples from the forum Shumoukh Al-Islam:
A posting by a well-known member called "abuhamza" stated that the French had declared war on the Muslims, and should know that statements made against France by Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) and by Osama bin Laden constituted a "green light" from the jihadi leadership to attack it. After reviewing Bin Laden's and AQIM's threats against France, abuhamza writes: "France was determined to continue challenging Al-Qaeda. It did not heed [the demands] to free its prisoners and it did not reassess its policies towards the Muslim countries. [Instead,] it continued its domestic debate regarding the Muslims and the Muslim women, and decided to implement the law banning the niqab… This was a clear challenge to Al-Qaeda's leadership, its [operatives] and its supporters.
In order to show everyone that it was determined and not intimidated by the threats, which it apparently did not take seriously, France arrested some 60 Muslims who wished to hold a peaceful protest [against the niqab law]… It also arrested two niqab-clad women, in a deliberately public manner, [thereby further] provoking the Muslims…
None of this is a coincidence; rather, it is the beginning of an all-out war that France has [declared] on Islam after returning to its Crusader past. [The French] believe they will be successful in [their] new Crusader wars, which will start within [France's] borders and end, so they dream, in the lands of Islam… They believe that Al-Qaeda's threats are empty words… They believe that Al-Qaeda's supporters in France will refrain from taking action out of love of this world…
Allah willing, they should wait for the lion's roar! What were the [jihadi] leaders' words if not a green light [for the mujahideen to act]?… The supporters of Osama and of Islam will not spare any efforts with regard to France…
