Netanyahu: "Mossad, bunker busting bombs, whatever it takes"

Challah Hu Akbar

Last night Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a powerful speech at the AIPAC Policy Conference, in which he said that "A nuclear armed Iran must be stopped." In addition, Netanyahu said "Israel has waited patiently for the international community to resolve this issue. We've waited for diplomacy to work. We've waited for sanctions to work. None of us can afford to wait much longer." Near the very end, he said that "we are blessed to live in an age when there is a Jewish state capable of defending the Jewish people.According to a Stratfor email released by Wikileaks, Netanyahu unsurprisingly had the same position in May 2010 when he told an unidentified Congressman that he would use "Mossad, bunker busting bombs, whatever it takes" to stop Iran.

Netanyahu told a US Congressman friend in a 1x1 conversation that he will not allow Iran to go nuclear "on his watch in Israel's back-yard" and he intends to use every means at his disposal to see that doesn't happen "Mossad, bunker busting bombs, whatever it takes", if need be.
Netanyahu also said in a sigh of frustration to the Congressman that he doesn't think Obama understands the threat ("rose colored glasses" was the exact phrase used.)
** Note -- This was a private conversation between me and Congressman, so I would appreciate that the matter not be forwarded. Thanks
