IDF Targeting 70 Underground Launching Sites in Gaza

IDF Blog

During the past hour, during a rapid and coordinated military strike, the IDF targeted approximately 70 underground medium range (up to 40 km) rocket launching sites in the Gaza Strip. Direct hits were confirmed.

The sites that have been targeted were positively identified by precise intelligence collected over the course of months.

The aim of targeting these sites is to significantly impair the rocket launching capability of terror organizations in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas has turned the Gaza Strip into a frontal base for Iran, terrorizing the residents of the State of Israel and forcing them to live under unbearable circumstances.
The IDF will continue to target sites that are used to carry out terror attacks against Israeli citizens.

Comment: Let us get the facts on the table. Hamas has been hammering us in Israel prior to this military operation.  In one day alone over 100 rockets and mortars hit Israel. There was constant  attacks-they amped up the situation by using rpg's against a jeep, higher level rockets.  Nations have a moral and legal right to defend themselves.  After ample warnings Hamas et al continued to act against us. Hamas is committing two fundamental war crimes: 1. their targets are non-military, their targets are civilians and they have intentionally and directly killed three of our population thus far. 2. they continue to operate behind human shields-they fire from behind kindergartens for example-they have arms and munitions caches under mosques and inside houses of worship.  These are the facts and Hamas and their sponsor, Iran, should be brought before the Hague once this is over.

Finally be appraised that Israel continues to act in a humane manner as it has taken 14 seriously ill people into its hospitals from the Gaza strip during their declared war on us.  Furthermore, Gaza receives its electricity from us and we continue to provide the people of Gaza with power while they murder us. Do not even consider telling me how horrible we are-you do so by presenting to the world your ignorance or stupidity.
