So, who is the inhumane one?

“…It is important to point out, as figures are released on the number of Israeli civilians vs. the number civilians in Gaza who have been killed, why there will always be an imbalance, with more dead in Gaza:

We protect our civilians. We sound sirens to give them warnings.  We provide shelters for them to run to.  We give advice on how to be safe and close schools in areas at risk.  In certain areas -- notably Sderot -- we have reinforced homes and other buildings.

Hamas does none of this to protect their civilians.  Instead, Hamas deliberately sets up situations that make their civilians more vulnerable.  For Hamas, the fact of dead civilians is a weapon to use against Israel -- they care not a bit for the lives of these people.

These basic facts should never be forgotten.”… © Arlene KushnerThis material is produced by Arlene Kushner, functioning as an independent journalist. Permission is granted for it to be reproduced only with proper attribution

Comment:  Ms. Kushner identifies a most important security and safety argument on behalf of humanitarian behavior. The MSM media plays the numbers game in order to
advance a particular agenda-can you guess what that is? It usually takes two days before the media trouts out the differences between Israel and Gaza people killed or wounded. They choose to jump to an illogical conclusion that Israel is the aggressor, Israel abuses the military power it has and does so to advance an anti-Arab or anti-Islam or anti-Palestinian strategy. Furthermore, the MSM has repeated this operational technique for so many years they have come to believe it is true. Well, let us put this to the test. Moments after a rocket has surgically struck a military target hundreds of people, including children as young as 4-5 years of age flock to the target site and as the cameras arrive begin their long standing behavior of wailing and shouting obscenities about Israel. First, why do thoughtful.loving, caring parents allow their children out on the streets at this time? Second, have you ever known us to send a second missile into such a large gathering-certainly if we were this horrific people what better opportunity than to kill and wound dozens more? Third, Gazans know we don't do this, they know we have the strictest operational codes in the world and they know they are secure at least from us in those moments. Fourth, not only do they comprehend our behavioral conduct codes, they turn them against us-how? They commit a war crime, time after time-they place their rocket launchers, munitions caches, armaments in schools, mosques, and they use human shields as they launch their weapons. In addition, they primary targets are civilians, yet another war crime. Fifth, Gaza has received billions of aide in the last 15 years.  Did they spend any of it on creating systems to protect their people-no, they did not.  Did they spend any of the money to educate their population on safety protocols, did they provide the necessary fortifications for homes and offices-no? Yet, these same building materials that can save lives was used to build underground launch pads, munitions storage rooms, luxury hotels for the wealthy and so much more. Did they spend any of the money to improve infrastructure conditions for their people? No, instead they spent the monies to fund terror and its complex structure bent upon killing and creating the next generation of Jew/Israeli haters. This is humane behavior? Let us not forget, even while all of this is going on, Israel continues to allow Gazan citizens to travel to Israel to receive treatment-yet, the MSM has the audacity to declare a more imbalance between us and the Gazans' Hamas-you know this is absurd.
