Leadership during Obama: NJ: No Love for Non-Union Electrical Workers: Media Gets Mass Power for NYC Marathon Tent

Teams of electrical workers from Alabama say they were turned away from working on storm damage in New Jersey because they are non-union. Dogs are hunting for buried bodies on Staten Island and Staten Islanders say they are starving and…please do not donate to the Red Cross. New York City Mayor Bloomberg a RINO (Republican in name only) is throwing is support to Barack Obama while desperate people in his city are furious that two massive generators are providing power for the media covering the New York City marathon. The much celebrated and disdained Obama-Christie-Love is not flowing.

Staten Islanders: We are dying here!
No love in New Jersey for non-union electrical workers:
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NEW JERSEY (WAFF) - The hurricane-ravaged east coast has been receiving north Alabama help, but crews learned they’ll be doing work in Long Island, New York instead of in New Jersey.
Crews from Decatur Utilities and Joe Wheeler out of Trinity headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can’t do any work there since they’re not union employees
The crews that are in Roanoke, Virginia say they are just watching and waiting even though they originally received a call asking for help from Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
The crews were told to stand down. In fact, Moore said the crew from Trinity is already headed back home.
Staten Island:
“Because the devastation in Staten Island, the lack of a response,” Mr. Molinaro [Staten Island Borough President] said to explain his comment to NBC after the press conference. “You know, I went to a shelter Monday night after the storm. People were coming in with no socks, with no shoes. They were in desperate need. Their housing was destroyed. They were crying. Where was the Red Cross? Isn’t that their function? They collect millions of dollars. Whenever there’s a drive in Staten Island, we give openly and honestly. Where are they? Where are they? I was at the South Shore yesterday, people were buried in their homes. There the dogs are trying to find bodies. The people there, the neighbors who had no electricity, were making soup. Making soup. It’s very emotional because the lack of a response. The lack of a response. They’re supposed to be here….They should be on the front lines fighting, and helping the people.”
New York City Marathon:
As hundreds of thousands of Big Apple residents suffer in homes left without power by Hurricane Sandy, two massive generators are being run 24/7 in Central Park — to juice a media tent for Sunday’s New York City Marathon.
And a third “backup” unit sits idle, in case one of the generators fails.
RINO New York City Mayor Bloomberg, once a rich Democrat, turned Republican, has endorsed Obama. Game on.

Comment:  Thanks to the massive pressure of reasonable people Bloomberg has cancelled the marathon-good grief, it took this pressure rather than doing what was right and moral?
