Righteous Muslim Salman Taseer Killed for Opposing Sharia

Pakistani governor murdered for trying to save Christian woman from execution

Israel has compiled a long list of Righteous Gentiles who risked and sometimes suffered death while trying to save Jews and other from the Holocaust. It would be appropriate to compile a similar list of Righteous Muslims who work to save “infidels” as well as persecuted Muslims from the savagery of Sharia law. The attempt of Salman Taseer, the governor of Punjab, to become a 21st century Oskar Schindler or Irina Sendler ended with his recent murder. The suspect said explicitly that he killed Taseer for opposing Pakistan’s savage Stone Age blasphemy laws, under which Asia Bibi was sentenced to death for being a Christian. It is therefore appropriate to place his name on a list of Righteous Muslims who have helped or tried to save Jews, Christians, women, gays, Baha’is, and the wrong “kinds” of Muslims from a 21st Century Holocaust.

Comment: There is a distinction between the institution known as Islam and those who practice varying forms of it, they are called Muslims. To lump all Muslims into the same basket is incorrect an wrong (morally speaking). I can write volumes on this subject; however, until this generation of leaders, academics, religious leaders and the media begin to tell the truth about what is really going on, until we stop using events, situations ,circumstances and people to further our own agendas the tragic loss of human life will escalate.
