An attempt is made to share the truth regarding issues concerning Israel and her right to exist as a Jewish nation. This blog has expanded to present information about radical Islam and its potential impact upon Israel and the West. Yes, I do mix in a bit of opinion from time to time.

Monday Begins with Arab Attacks on Jews
Hana Levi Julian
Palestinian Authority Arabs started off the day by attacking Israelis in various locations around the country from the wee hours of Monday morning.
In northern Gaza, terrorists attacked IDF soldiers as they carried out routine counterterrorism operations. The attackers fired anti-tank missiles and automatic weapons in the exchange, but no soldiers were injured. In the Samaria region, PA Arabs pelted an Egged bus near the Samarian town of Hizme. The bus was damaged but no injuries were reported.
A few hours earlier, an Egged bus was hit by a barrage of rocks hurled by Arabs from inside a schoolyard as it passed a village northeast of Ramallah. As in the previous attack, the bus was damaged but no one was injured.
In the wee hours of the morning, an Israeli car with several passengers flipped over near the Hawara checkpoint south of Shechem, also in Samaria. The accident apparently occurred due to a rock trap placed on the road by Arab attackers. Four passengers were lightly wounded.
One of the victims of the road block accident, Yehuda Gordon, called the technique a new type of terrorism:
"We were travelling just after 3:00 a.m. on the road through the Arab village of Hawara, returning from Jerusalem Day festivities. The driver swerved left to avoid a dog standing in our lane. At first the driver appeared to have regained control of the car, but suddenly, there was a boom - we hit some of the rocks - and we swerved off the road to the left and flipped over.
"The driver and I got out immediately, and the first thing we saw were several Arabs approaching us with a flashlight. The driver called them to turn off the flashlight which was blinding us. When they realized that we were Jews, they fled. After getting the other two passengers out of the car, I saw that the middle of the road was covered with huge stones. Then I realized that the Arabs had planted the road hazard for us. They seemed to know that it might hit Arabs, but they didn't care - as long as there was a good chance it would hit Jews..."
Overnight, IDF soldiers arrested five fugitive PA Arabs who were wanted for alleged involvement in terrorist activities. Two of the suspects were caught in the PA-controlled Samarian city of Kalkilya. The other three were arrested in Judea; two were picked up in Bethlehem and one was arrested in a village near Hevron.
All five men were transferred to security services personnel for questioning. No one was injured during the arrest operations.
Police also caught two PA Arabs late Sunday night after the pair escaped a detention facility in Beit Govrin. Both had been arrested for illegally crossing the pre-1967 border without a permit.
The Judea and Samaria security barrier prevented the two from escaping directly into the PA-controlled territory and they were caught as they made their way along the wall towards Hevron. Police returned the pair to detention.
