OUTRAGEOUS! US: Palestinians don't have to recognize 'Jewish state'-write a letter

April 19, 2009

To: President Barack Hussein Obama

To: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

Dear Mr. Obama and Madam Clinton,

The one sided posture the US has taken whereby the Palestinians don't have to recognize Israel as a 'Jewish state,' is an extreme departure from the U.N resolution of the establishment of Israel as the home of the Jewish People, and is contrary to every position taken by the US until today. The fact that the US is ignoring and rejecting that the State of Israel is by nature a Jewish State is a discriminatory policy.

The policy of total oblivion and disregard the US has adopted as far as what Israel is facing from the Arabs, with or without a Palestinians State, is shameful outrageous.

If the Road Map is now back on the table as the solution to a future Palestinian State, then the US must demand that the Palestinians meet all the forty eight points of the Road Map; all!

It is a US bias policy to treats Israel as the bearer of all responsibilities for peace and a state for the Arabs/Palestinians while the Arabs/Palestinians are treated as though they are an only child who has no responsibilities but to want and get.

Ignoring all that the Palestinians have to meet to deserve a State is a clear indication that the US is applying an unfair, prejudice and partial policy towards Israel.

The reason the Palestinians do not have their own state yet is because they never met any of the requirements and conditions they had agreed to meet, not even one, and also because they really do not want a state, rather they want to continue being the up front line for the Arab/Muslim world for its on going jihad against Israel that, they hope, will finally lead to the total destruction of Israel.

All the promises in the world that if Israel does this or that, along this agreement or that agreement is nothing but a bait Israel took before and paid for dearly.

The Saudi plan the US is pursing is nothing but a plan to destroy Israel. It promises, does not guarantee, to [the Arab world] "normalize relations" [with Israel] only after Israel withdraws to pre 1967 borders and allows Arab "refugees" to flood across its borders. Based on the past, it is appalling that the USA is acting so irresponsible believing that all of a sudden the Arabs will finally normalize relations with a country they do not recognize or wish it exists.

Unfortunately, the international community has become accustomed to the Arabs rejecting all Israel’s conditions for peace, while Israel routinely caves to pressure that meets Arab demands.

It is the duty of Prime Minister Netanyahu to change this destructive perception, thus reintroduce reciprocity to the peace process.

If the US and the EU discriminate the nature of the State of Israel, it is the duty of the Israeli government lead by Benjamin Netanyahu, representing six million Israelis living in the State of Israel, to ensure that if they do bow to more world pressure, the world understands, acknowledges protects and guarantees the right of the ‘other state’—the State of Israel—west of the Jordan River, to be first and foremost, the homeland of the Jews—a Jewish State.

Comments by Aggie: We must protest to the While House and State Dept regarding this one sided posture taken by the US, a departure from the UN establishment of Israel as the home of the Jewish People, and contrary to every position taken by the US until today.

In the same vein that Hillary called the conviction of US journalist by Iran to be "disappointing," the US is cowering or continuing its pursuit of appeasing the Muslim world. The Road Map is now the solution of the past, because the Palestinians did not meet any of its requirements. Now the US is looking at the Saudi plan which gives Israel nothing but a promise to "normalize relations" ( an undefined term), and only after Israel withdraws to pre 1967 borders and allows Arab "refugees" to flood across its borders. Is it any wonder that Abbas refuses to agree that Israel shall remain a Jewish state? And the Arab position is acceptable to the US. The US simply wants to "succeed" in creating a Palestinian State, no matter what the cost to Israel.—Aggie
