Shamrack's Samplings

UNHRC Has Different Rules for Israel.

If more proof were needed that the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is a feckless, biased, intellectually corrupt haven for dictators and Islamofascists, the evidence was clearly on display this week. The UNHRC voted to affirm Sri Lanka 's right, justifiably, to self-defence from terror attacks launched against its citizens and territory by the Tamil Tigers. Indeed, the council went further, "condemning all attacks that the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) launched on the civilian population and its practice of using civilians as human shields." Sri Lanka had every right to protect itself, the council concluded, even at the cost of an estimated 20,000 civilian Tamil lives since the beginning of May alone. Why, then, when Israel seeks to do the same -- protect its citizens and territory from rocket and terror attacks launched from Gaza -- does the very same council accuse Israel of being a "genocidal empire?" No quarter is given for the way Hamas --every bit as much a terror organization as the LTTE -- hides its rocket bases and ammunition caches in schools, apartments and hospitals and launches its attacks on Israel from behind innocent human targets so that if the Israel Defense Forces wish to retaliate it is impossible for them to do so without taking civilian lives.

Muslim Convert Kills Soldier at US Recruiting Office. One soldier was killed and another wounded when Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad opened fire on the pair as they were standing outside a military recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas last week. Muhammad told police investigators he was angry about the killing of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. (Why are Muslims never angry at Islamists and do not kill them when they murder Jews and Christians?)

Opportunity is Slipping for Stopping Iran.

Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, issued his most serious warning yet about the approach of a nuclear-armed Iran: "Most of us believe that Iran is one to three years" from developing a nuclear weapon& depending on where they are right now. But they are moving closer, clearly, and they continue to do that," he told ABC's "This Week" Sunday, on May 24. He indicated that an Iran could develop a nuke at any time from one to three years hence.

"That's why this engagement in dialogue is so important. I think we should do that with all options on the table..." although a "pretty narrow space" is left for a successful outcome meaning Iran does not end up with nuclear weapons.

At the same time, Mullen said a military strike against Iran 's nuclear facilities could have grave consequences - but so too would a nuclear-armed Iran.

Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak

The speech of President Obama in Cairo was full of platitudes and seemingly naïve statements which were made deliberately misleading and dangerous! He completely ignored the responsibility of Muslim states for fostering Islamic hate and terrorism against infidels! According to Obama, Muslims do not have to (after 9/11, Bali, 7/7...) gain the trust of the US or the West in general.

Why does the two-state solution propose the creation of a state for the fake Palestinians only? Abbas, US President Obama and multitude of other ' Israel lovers' are planning to deport 280,000 Jews from their homes in Judea and Samaria, as was done in Gaza . At the same time, they are not willing to recognize Israel as the Jewish state or even consider the removal of the enemy population from Jewish land!

Politically Skewed Justice. State Prosecutor Menachem Mazuz said last week that Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman "would not be a minister in a normal country." According to Mazuz, a person should not be able to be appointed minister if he has ongoing police investigations against him. ("In a normal country" Labor's political stooge would not be a state prosecutor. Mazuz did not make similar remarks when Olmert was investigated for multiple corruption charges, being Israel's PM, and Peres for rape, being Israel' s President! But he did everything possible to drag out these inquiries.)

Quiet Weapons War. An Iranian ship was recently destroyed off the coast of Sudan while transporting weapons to Gaza , according to the Egyptian daily Al-Usbua. The paper named Israel and the United States as likely suspects in the attack.

Is Jewish life Cheaper than American? Former Vice President Dick Cheney finally admitted that he does not believe Saddam Hussein was involved in the planning or execution of the September 11, 2001, attacks. He strongly defended the Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq, however, arguing that Hussein's previous support for known terrorists was a serious danger after 9/11. (Nuclear Iran's support " for known terrorists" is also a serious danger for Israel! Why are both US administrations, Bush and Obama, vigorously sabotaging Israel's right to self-defence?)

Abbas Rejected Olmert's State Offer. The Palestinian Authority rejected an offer from the Olmert government for a PA state on almost the entire area of Judea and Samaria (Yesha). Deputy Editorial Editor Jackson Diehl of Washington Post by revealed: "Abbas acknowledged that Olmert had shown him a map proposing a Palestinian state on 97 percent of the West Bank ... He confirmed that Olmert 'accepted the principle' of the 'right of return' of Palestinian refugees -- something no previous Israeli prime minister had done... Abbas turned it down." (Abbas, as his predecessor Arafat, has only one objective - Destruction of Israel - anything else is irrelevant! Never again should Israel 's leaders gamble with Jewish land for the sake of the fake peace process!)

Quote of the Week: "With all due respect to the United States , our strategic ally, we are an independent democratic country and our political leadership is chosen by internal democratic processes... Our experience with American dictates in the very recent past has not been a good one. It was the United States that insisted on allowing Hamas to run in the Palestinian elections. I don't think this government will very easily cave to demands that are not carefully considered and responsible, no matter how much we value our strategic partnership with the United States." Coalition chairman and Likud MK Ze'ev Elkin

Barbarity is an Intricate part of the 'Moderate' Arab State. Saudi Arabian officials beheaded and then publicly displayed the body of a convicted killer in Riyadh week ago, on Friday. The Saudi Interior Ministry said Ahmed Al-Shamlani Al-Anzi was sentenced to death and then "crucifixion" - having his body displayed in public. (No doubt it was a part of the Muslim's holiest day of the week celebration!) Saudi Arabian officials beheaded and then publicly displayed the body of a convicted killer in Riyadh on Friday Saudi Arabian officials beheaded and then publicly displayed the body of a convicted killer in Riyadh Saudi Arabian officials beheaded and then publicly displayed the body of a convicted killer in Riyadh on Friday

Amnesty International is Another anti-Israel 'Barking Dog'. In its 2009 annual report Amnesty International places sole blame on Israel for the breakdown in the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas that led to Operation Cast Lead and ignored Hamas violations, including terror attacks and kidnapping of Gilad Shalit.

Any Fake Excuse Would Do. On his way from Washington Abbas met Mubarak to inform him of the results of his visit to the United States and stated at a press conference: "Palestinians will not resume peace talks with Israel unless it stops settlements" (But the infighting between Hamas and Fatah, continuation of terrorist attacks against Israel and the non-recognition of Israel as the Jewish state are not an obstacle for peace!)

Britain to Review all Arms Exports to Israel. Britain said it will review all weapons exports to Israel following the war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The move comes after pressure from British lawmakers who had demanded that the government ensure U.K. weapon parts were not used against 'Palestinians'. (But it can be used to kill Jews? It would be a balance approach to stop selling weapons to Muslim countries as well! This is another case of anti-Semitic international hypocrisy!)

What Peace? It is Just a Respite. Several Jordanian Parliament members presented a new law to cancel the country's peace treaty with Israel. The lawmakers claimed Israel does not respect treaties and does not want peace. (Look who is talking? How have Jordan and Egypt contributed to peace with Israel, except for taking US aid for nothing?)

'Easing Life' for Arabs = Life in Terror for Jews!

by David Wilder

In January 1997 Bibi signed and implemented the Hevron Accords, which transferred over 80% of Hevron to Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian Authority. Finally, an overwhelming majority of Hevron Arabs were freed from the yoke of the Zionist occupier. No more Israeli soldiers patrolled some 80% of the city looking for 'freedom fighters', AKA terrorists. This led, three and a half years later, to the beginning of shooting attacks from the Abu Sneneh and Harat a-Sheikh hills overlooking Hevron's Jewish community, which continued for almost two and a half years. They lived the good life; Hevron's Jews lived with constant terror. (Over 850,000 Jews have been forced to leave Muslim countries since the creation of Israel . Isn't it time for Arabs to leave Jewish land and put an end to subjecting Jews to terror even within Israel? Stupidity of the global domination of Islam must be stopped!)

Irreconcilable Brotherly Love.

Six people were killed in a Palestinian Authority raid on a rival Hamas terrorist stronghold in the Samarian city of Kalkilya last week. Egyptian mediators have spent months trying to bring the Hamas and Fatah factions together to recreate a PA unity government. Prior to the seizure of Gaza by Hamas in June 2007, Saudi Arabian King Abdullah had managed to convince the two terror groups to work together in a coalition, but it lasted only a few weeks. PA Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas has in the past promised Israel and the United States not to return to any unity government with Hamas unless it first renounces terror, accepts Israel's right to exist and commits itself to upholding agreements signed by previous PA governments with Israel and other entities. (Both parties hate Israel without any doubt, but hate among them is flaming also high!)
