Over the past 62 years the unfortunate war the Arabs had declared on Israel has gone through many stages, none advanced the possible peace in the region; not one iota. Today, this "reality show," that thus far has claimed thousands of lives, on both the Israel and Arabs side, has taken new dimension. It can be seen as a political theatre to undermine Israel's credibility and invokes the widely spreading, one sided debated issue about the State of Israel's right in exist.
Obviously, the main characters in this series are Israel and the Arab world. However, over the years, the main Arab character has changed. The main story line thus far has not changed: the Arab countries, that have staged themselves as Israel's staunch opponents do not want Israel to exist in the Middle East.
In the "series'" pilot segment, first showed on the screen in 1948, the Arabs have declared their war against the State of Israel and Jews. Throughout the years, this ongoing strong war has taken many different dimensions, and relentlessly glued the entire world to the TV screens.
In its first, 1948 scenes, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria attacked the fledgling Jewish State, Israel. Israel won the war and prevailed to become a successful state.
Over the years the series extensively covered all of the Arab-Israel's wars. There was the 1956 Sinai War with Egypt as the main actor on the Arabs side, followed by scenes, over several years, of Arab guerrilla and terrorist warfare on Israel by Jordan, Egypt, Syria, and even Lebanon. Then came the 1967 Six-Day War, with Egypt, Jordan and Syria as the main Arab actors, followed by scenes of ample more guerrilla and terrorist warfare from Arabs who have named themselves "Palestinians." They all united under the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) umbrella with the main Arab actor, its leader Yassir Arafat. In the 1973–74 the series have dealt with the Yom Kippur War, followed by many scenes from Operation Litani, the Israeli Invasion of Lebanon in 1978 and the 1981 Osirak Raid its result was the destruction of the Iraqi nuclear plant.
During 1987-1993, the world was glued to the TV screen watching the gruesome scenes from the First Intifada, launched by the Arab actor the POL on Israeli civilians, which was Arab urban response to Israeli rule in the West Bank and Gaza.
This ongoing "Reality Show" never ran out of material. It then dealt with the Israeli Invasion of Lebanon in 1982-1984, this, in response to the repeated guerrilla attacks by the Arab actor PLO, launched on Israel from South Lebanon. The Israeli Occupation of South Lebanon followed this during 1984-2000. During the USA first Persian Gulf War, while Israel took no offensive action in this war, Iraq, the Arab actor in these scenes, launched tens of Scud missiles, which struck Israel and almost caused Israel's intervention in the Gulf War.
Then there was the "Al-Aqsa" Intifada, when the urban guerrilla-commando war was waged between Israel and various Arab-"Palestinian" groups, including a new actor Hamas. Between September, 2000 and, September, 2007 4,453 Palestinians and 1,114 Israelis have been killed due to the escalating violence. The blood did not stop flowing on either side.
In October 2003, the Israeli Air Strike on Syria took place whereby Israeli warplanes hit the Syrian village of Ain al-Saheb, near Damascus. In 2006, the world watched many scenes from the Israeli-Hezbollah War, also known as "The Second Lebanon War," a response to a repeated guerrilla attacks by the Shiite Lebanese militia Hezbollah. Israel invaded southern Lebanon, set up a naval blockade, and launched a powerful bombing campaign in order to win the release of two captured Israeli soldiers. Two years later, the world watched the return to tearful Israel of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser in caskets.
The last dramatic war scenes were from the December 2008 Gaza Cast Lead War between the Arab-"Palestinian" actor Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip and Israel.
Over the years, Israel made all attempts to end this ugly "Reality Show." Israel withdrew its presence from Lebanon and Gaza, dismantling all of the Jewish hometowns of Gush Katif in the Gaza strip.
Israel's appeasement of the Arabs and the concessions it made to them went hand in hand with its hope the Arabs will finally agree to end their war on the Jews and put this "Reality Show"to rest. This gesture brought on Israel the 2nd Lebanon War and the Hamas ongoing barrage of rockets and missiles aimed at Israeli towns in the southern region of the country. While in Lebanon Hezbollah is arming itself in preparation for its next encounter with Israel, Hamas has been and is firing rockets and mortars at Israeli town almost daily. In these scenes the world has been watching terrified Israeli children and women running for their life into the closet shelter while the sirens are screeching and the Hamas mortars and rockets are exploding.
Over the years the Arabs realized that military wise, they cannot defeat Israel, thus, they reverted to political and media warfare and now, finally they have turned the tide in their favor and they are winning this war. With this new development the "Reality Show" scenes have changed. The main actors are now anti-Israel Islamofascist demonstrators, anti-Israel-anti-Semitic Moslem imams and clerics and Iran's regime leadership all are calling for the destruction of the Jewish State and death to all Jews.
This "Reality Show" last segment in this context took place two days ago when Israel interception of six ships named the "Gaza Peace Humanitarian Flotilla" its aim was to break Israel's maritime blockade on Gaza, established in 2006. This flotilla however was nothing more than well orchestrated propaganda as well as a jihad attack on Israel, mind you most successful.
The goal of the participants of this flotilla was to further destabilize the Israelis spirit, demonize and delegitimize Israel in the international arena and weaken its credibility as a state. During, what seems to be an everlasting "Reality Show," Israel, but once, after the Six Day War, always ended up being the bad guy.
The viewers watched Israeli commandos landing on one of the flotilla ships, armed with paint bullets guns, to be faced with a jihadist, lynching mob. Israel's military command may have been naive to believe the flotilla members indeed meant to be humanitarians with peace intentions in mind. All the soldiers were instructed to do was to take peaceful control of the ship so it could be redirected to Port of Ashdod. There the Israeli authorities were to inspect the cargo and if all harmless, deliver it all to Gaza by land route. The encounter ended up not as planned, with nine dead protestors and injured protestors and Israeli soldiers.
While the producers of this troubling "Reality Show," Hamas and the entire Arab world, as the main Arab actor, along with anti-Israel, anti-Semites, "enlightened" countries and the UN are all preparing the upcoming scenes, in the last two days since the Israeli navy navigated the flotilla to Ashdod Port in southern Israel, over 1,300 articles and videos, all about the interception incident were made public. The media had a frenzy, lynch Israel day. The UN rushed to pass a resolution condemning Israel with the unprecedented support of the US, which has never yet participated in a resolution condemning Israel.
Turkey has now got a part in this "Reality Show." The country's current Islamist ruling party is leaning heavily toward Islamofascism. Along its party charter, it is acting with aggression toward Israel to gain points with the Arab world, Iran and other supporters of Israel's enemies.
The footage of this constantly evolving "Reality Show" has now brought the viewers to new heights. The main actor, on behalf of all of Israel's enemies, is now the biased media filled with lies, deception and propaganda against Israel. The fact that this flotilla was organized, and largely funded, by IHH, a Turkish based Aid Organization with clear ties and links to terror organizations, including Hamas and Iran, the latter a US enemy, has been excluded from the series. The fact that IHH has been linked to arm smuggling activities and outlawed organizations has been well camouflaged by the new actor, the media, working diligently on behalf of all of Israel enemies. The series last scene ended with the hate Israel useful idiots, now include the Obama administration, and the entire world combine, condemning Israel for its soldiers defending themselves and for the country's need to closely monitor that Hamas does not arm itself further, which, if it does, will further shatter Israel's fragile security stance.
Israel wants peace but peace will not be as long as Hamas, its charter sworn to annihilate Israel, remains in power in Gaza. Those who support peace in the Middle East need to strongly support Israel's policy of a siege on Gaza and help Israel, in any way and mean possible, to destroy Hamas and remove it from the region.
In the meantime, Israel needs to act as if another Holocaust is on the horizon. Call Israel and Jews paranoids; call them in any name you want. But in reality, when people call to hasten the demise of the Jewish State, awareness and precautions are measures Israel must take. The interception of the "Peace Flotilla" was meant to be peaceful. All Israel badly wanted was to make sure that only humanitarian supply, no arms, is delivered by this flotilla. The flotilla members chose war!
The Israeli leadership has a country of over 5Million Jews to protect and defend. Jews now have the sovereignty to defend themselves. Fully aware of their bloody history over millenniums, Jews will no longer sit idle to allow one Jewish soul to be harmed, one Jewish book of faith to be burned and one Jewish synagogue to be desecrated or destroyed.
This series will come off the air if and when Israel defeats its enemy to the point where they no longer have the chance nor the desire to attack it one more time in order to try to destroy it; when the world will, that includes all media outlets, cure itself of its anti-Semitism disease, it is so badly riddled with; when the Arabs finally fully accept Israel as a nation among all other nations. Until then, regrettably, stay tune to next scene of the longest TV "Reality Show" in world's history that is now nothing but a lynch Israel field day.
