Follow up to Border Incident story:Prostitutes for the truth aka facts

GS Don Morris, Ph.D.

So the illegitimate reporters and media begin. Today, one or more snipers attacked Israeli soldiers. Here are the facts: in coordination with UNIFIL, UN soldiers mind you knew we were performing routine maintenance work in one area of our northern border. Without any provocation from our side one or more snipers fired upon our military men. Here is one part of the story the MSM and others chose to forget, leave out or simply lie by omission of the story. One group of soldiers was in a location performing the brush removal work. Many photos of this have already appeared on the internet. Please note, our soldiers were on OUR side of the border doing said clearing work (another fact conveniently with held by certain MSM).
Here is the other part of the missing story. The sniper(s) did not fire initially upon the soldiers doing the work, rather they fired upon several commanders located a distance away from the worksite-regrettably one commander was murdered, another critically wounded and is in hospital as of this writing. As written in a previous post, see docstalk, we then retaliated. Three of their people were silenced. The Lebanese army then requested a cease-fire for purposes of removing their injured men-we honored their request.

The final part of the story not correctly reported: a Lebanese RPG group broke the cease-fire and directed a RPG onto one of tanks that had just arrived-they missed. We didn’t, we retaliated and took care of the RPG group. Note in the photos UNIFIL soldiers standing next to a RPG firing unit-one could ask what was the UNIFIL soldier(s) really doing-aiding and abetting our enemy? Were they asked to stand their waving the UNIFIL flag and thus serving as human shields? Have these supposed UNIFIL soldiers been vetted, how do we know they were truly belonging to UNIFIL? If they were authentic UNIFIL soldiers why did they condone the RPG unprovoked attack upon the Israeli soldiers? Did the UNIFIL soldiers report to their commanders that the Lebanese Army fired the first shots and they were fired at the commanders, not the soldiers? If not, why did they not report this correctly?

For many of us, we know the answers to the preceding questions. Like someone in the Obama Administration once said, “Don’t waste an incident …” Immediately the MSM has framed the UN soldiers are protecting the Lebanese Army-huh? Syria’s Assad immediately said it will stand with Lebanon “in the face of Israel’s criminal aggression.” Good grief! So, by the time you read this, let us count the number of anti-Israel individuals, media sources and other people who choose to intentionally misrepresent the facts to the public-in my world this is called lying!

How utterly misleading, dishonest and disingenuous is the representation of this event? We must get this correct, wars have begun with lesser provocation. All blame falls upon the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL-to create a different narrative is to unmask yourself as a liar. Already the Italian papers, Il Giornale and Corriere della Serra have interesting misrepresentations-it has begun-the media frenzy. They do offer one bit of interesting information-they report that a-Akhbar paper (pro-Hizzbollah) had a reporter on site-hmm, how come they were there, might they have been alerted to the ambush? Please note that the editor, Ibrahim al-Amine is considered a Hizzbollah mouthpiece. You see, once again Israeli soldiers were clearly ambushed. This is a developing story-Docstalk will stay on the incident and report the facts as more become avialable. Please call to task any other misrepresentation of this event by your media sources.
