Join my Seethe - Wake-up America

Nurit Greenger

How many in this country are fed up with what is happening to our country? I am sure millions.

If so, then, where the hell is our collective outrage with this so called president? By now, we should be screaming bloody murder, right?! But we are not!

We now have a gang of tax cheating clueless Leftists trying to steer our ship of state right over a cliff, or into a huge iceberg.

We have got a cadre of corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and what do we do? Nothing! They could not run even a ridiculous cash-for-clunkers program without losing $26 billion of the taxpayers' money, much less build a hybrid car.

But instead of getting mad, everyone is sitting around and nods his or her head when the politicians say, 'trust me, the economy is getting better...' Better? Really? Whom are they kidding!? This is America, not some Banana Republic! Best sound bite we must hear: 'Throw all the Democrats out, along with Obama!'

You might think I have gone off my rocker, but I have not. However, one Congress member has to speak up, loud and clear, from the Well of the House; or a Joe the plumber like has to rise to a national level and speak up for all of us, those who are fed up, and we must echo him or her.

I hardly recognize this country, which I embraced as a naturalized American in 1984.

This country had invented entrepreneurship. But, today, the most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs.

While we are battling a war in Afghanistan and still building an Islamic sharia compliant nation – which is no democracy – in Iraq, Iran is completing its nuclear bombs and missiles and nobody seems to know what to do, but talk and warn but talk and warn. And the adjacent to lies and deception liberal press is waving 'pom-poms' instead of asking hard questions and pointing fingers.

This is not the America we were promised!

So, yes, I have had enough and want a real change; but how about you?

Let us go a step further. You cannot call yourself a patriot if you're not outraged. This is a fight that all good Americans must be ready and willing to have, right now. This is the 'C', the Call to end the Crisis!

Leaders rise or are discovered in times of crisis. It is easy to sit back and talk theory. It is easy to send someone else's kid off to war when you have never wore Military Fatigue or have seen a day of battle yourself. So it is another thing to lead when the world around you is slowly, but surely, comes tumbling down.

Since September 11, 2001, when the Twin-Towers, disintegrated in front of our eyes, we needed a strong leader, perhaps more than any other time in our history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes and make the nation understand what have happened. What Islam, that attacked us, is all about.

And here is where we stand:

America is now immersed in a bloody war in Afghanistan with no plan for winning but talks about leaving. And our soldiers are dying daily.

America is running the biggest deficit in the history of the world, and it is only getting worse every day!

America has lost its manufacturing edge to Asia, while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs and regulations.

Imported gas prices are skyrocketing and the local oil industry's hands are bound by government regulations, which simply prohibit drilling in our land to solve this problem. America has the largest oil reserves in the world, and we cannot drill for it, thus assist the economy because the American politicians have been bought by the flea-hugging environmentalists.

While the government lets the environmentalists hijack the economy, it adulates the oil producers terrorist in Arabia and is enslaved – addicted – to their oil.

America's schools are an educational disaster because of the teachers' union and the curriculum that is taught in our schools.

America's borders are like sieves and have proven to be the door to a potential terror disaster on our homeland soil, yet the politicians has not decreed to hermetically closed the border to safeguard the nation. Yet, they always push to give all those who snuck across the borders illegally amnesty and free government services.

The middle class is being squeezed to death every day and is becoming the lower class.

Now is the time that cries for leadership, real leadership, less the political correctness and political career aspiration.

But when we look around, we have got to ask: 'Where have all the leaders gone?' Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense? I may be fond of alliteration, but I think you get the point...

Please name a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes at airports and throw away our shampoo and water bottles. American have spent billions of dollars to build the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), a huge and ineffective bureaucratic mammoth. Why don't we adopt the Israeli homeland security method and why don't we profile, as we should? Even democracies profile in time of need!

Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping the government will make it better for them. That is just crazy. Deal with real life. Government does not make it better only enslaves you.

America needs industry leaders to restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' car companies will refer to the Japanese car companies? How did this happen to a nation that invented the car industry!?

We are still searching for the leader who will articulate a plan, for all to embrace to pay down the debt, or solve the energy crisis, or manage the health care problems. The silence is deafening, no leader to be found while these crises are eating away at our country and milking the majority of Americans dry.

So, here is our news for the Chicago gangsters in Washington, President and Congress alike: We did not elect you to turn this country into a losing European Socialist state, to a Banana Republic. What is everybody so afraid of to not open mouth and express the right rant? That some bonehead on spineless MSNBC or CNN news will call them a name? Give us all a break and begin showing some spine for a change?

Had enough or shall I carry on? There is much more to be said! I am only trying to be the early voice of gloomy reality. Yes, I am trying to light a fire under every American's feet. I am speaking out because I do have hope, because I believe in America. History teaches us that America experienced some monumental crises: The 'Great Depression,' 'World War II,' the 'Korean War,' the 'Kennedy Assassination,' the 'Vietnam War,' the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years since 9/11, out of which we have emerged and were victorious to whatever extent.

America has had its greatest moments and can have them again, even grater ones, but we must make our voices heard.

It is our country, fellow Americans, and it is our future, the future that is very much at stake!
