Egyptian Demonstration in Washington to Condemn the Acts of Terror Committed by the Muslim Brotherhood

The Egyptian organizations in the U.S. would like to invite all Egyptians to join a large peaceful rally which will be held in Washington DC, on Thursday August 22nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm, seeking to expose the terrorist nature of the Muslim Brotherhood group and its allies worldwide, as well as to expose the bias of the Obama Administration and the US media in favor of this terrorist group.

The rally will start at the main gate of the White House (White House Sidewalk) at 11:00 a.m. Then, we will head out to the Washington Post headquarters at 3:00 p.m., and ending at the headquarters of the Egyptian military attaché in Washington to give praise to the Egyptian army for taking a heroic stand against the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood movement.

In the past, the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood movement was behind the Cairo Fire that took place on Jan. 26, 1952, where it set 700 foundations, hotels and facilities on fire, killing 49 Egyptians and 9 foreigners. More recently, on January 28, 2011, the Muslim Brothers stormed 99 Egyptian police stations (one-third of police stations in Egypt). They also stormed 6 prisons, setting free 23 thousand inmates, including Mohammed Morsi and Hamas and Hezbollah’s convicted criminals. They seized 2472 weapons after killing 32 officers and soldiers, and set out to vandalize dozens of establishments, killing dozens of Egyptians. Last week, on August 14, 2013, The Muslim Brothers killed 43 police officers and hundreds of Egyptians. They also set dozens of churches and Egyptian institutions on fire in an attempt to destroy Egypt. So far, 82 churches, Christian religious institutions and Christian schools have been set on fire, in addition to 20 Churches that were either attacked or set on fire during Morsi’s time in office. Thus, the Muslim Brotherhood has committed over a hundred attacks against churches and Christian institutions in the course of a single year, not to mention the attacks on hundreds of Coptic houses, shops and businesses.

Therefore, we invite Egyptians in the U.S and Egypt supporters  to join us in Washington to expose the Muslim Brotherhood’s terrorist nature and acts to the entire world. Washington DC is the most significant political city worldwide, since it is home to the U.S. Administration, Congress, more than a hundred research center and dozens of lobby groups, and more than 2000 newspapers and TV stations headquarters, as well as diplomatic missions from all over the world.
