The IAF attacked targets in the Gaza Strip early Sunday morning in response to rocket fire on Israel from the coastal territory the day before.

Four targets in the northern part of the Gaza Strip and one target in the southern part of the coastal territory were successfully hit by the air force, The Office of the IDF Spokesperson confirmed.
"Hamas rocket terrorism is an intolerable reality Israelis should not have to accept," an IDF Spokesperson Peter Lerner tweeted on Sunday morning.

A rocket fired from Gaza exploded in open territory in the Asheklon Coast Regional Council on Saturday evening.
No injuries or damage were reported from the rocket.
Earlier in the week, on Thursday night, Palestinian terrorists in the coastal enclave fired four rockets toward southern Israel, activating the Code Red alert in Sderot and surrounding communities.
The projectiles failed to reach their targets, landing in open territory near the border with Gaza.
In response to the rocket fire, the Israel Air Force on Thursday stuck five terror targets in the Gaza Strip.
