The American Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, has arrived in Paris, flying to the rescue of President Nicolas Sarkozy, criticized for his handling of the visit to France of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, by ensuring that ''everyone reaches out to Libya,'' including Washington.
