Fighting Disproportion and Inequality; the Rescue Must Come From Within

It has been said that during the 2006 2nd Lebanon War, not yet Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu gave an interview to the British Television in it he refuted the claim that Israel was ‘disproportionately’ bombing Lebanon. He said that if one wants to argue this accusation then during WWII the Allies retaliated against Germany in a grandiose ‘disproportions.’ In response to the German blitz on London, the British wiped out the entire city of Dresden, burning to death more German civilians than the number of people killed in Hiroshima. To end the Japanese war machine, the Unites State wiped out most of the Japanese cities, Nagasaki and Hiroshima, leaving a trail of atomic disaster for the years to come. Another example when, in 1944, the RAF bombed the Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen, some of the bombs simply missed their target and fell on a Danish children's hospital, killing 83 little children. NO ONE ever claimed or charged the Allies, who saved Europe from the Nazis, that they fought the war disproportionally. When a nation goes to war to defend itself it must do what ever it takes to win the war. The international community cannot and must not expect Israel to go to war to defend itself with any other notion other than to win it and eradicate its enemy, just like all other nations will do when fighting a war to defend their existence. Case closed!

The problem begins and ends with the issue that there is specially designed set of rules and laws that apply to Israel and Jews only and there is another, generic, set of rules and laws that applies to the entire world. There is where the inequality begins and is embedded.

There is a word for double standards that result in singling out Israel and Jews and that word is anti-Semitism. And for those who are not yet familiar with the exact definition of anti-Semitism (also spelled anti-semitism or antisemitism), it is prejudice against or hostility towards Jews, often rooted in hatred of their culture and/or religion background. While the term's etymology might suggest that antisemitism is directed against all Semitic peoples, since its initial usage it has been used exclusively to refer to hostility toward Jews. The modern anti-Semitism is expressed in the excessive hostility towards the State of Israel by no other than the Arab countries and even countries Israel considers its allies, such as the European countries and some branches of the United State of America government such as the State Department and Mr. Obama and his closest cronies.

However the world does not see it as anti-Semitic behavior because the Jews and Israel never rebuttal and fought back those accusations by giving the truthful explanation, which is that indeed, there is an inherit double standards in the world along which Israel and Jews are constantly singled out and such behavior equates with the word ‘anti-Semitism.’ This is one answer the defenders of Israel and Jews must always give and then must not elaborate or explain further.

I see it imperative to speak up about how unevenly the State of Israel and its citizens have been and are being treated and speak about how unfairly the international community deals with Israel. When I speak about the State of Israel and Israeli citizens I refer to every Israeli citizen of any creed and religion. How unfairly the world treats the State of Israel ultimately affects its entire citizenry living on its land, even, yes, the Israeli Arabs and to some degree even the Arabs who belong to the PLO and the Fatah camp. Since 2005 Gaza Strip is no longer in this category; it is now totally Judenfrei (free of Jews) and is [mis]managed by the terrorist organization Hamas.

For that matter rehashing the right lexicon is crucial to Israelis, Jews and the State of Israel proponents’ ability to refute many of the accusation and arguments.

I will deal here with few exemplary cases only.

Occupation: In 1967 in a war that lasted six long says Israel won the war the Arab countries launched against her. Subsequently Israel regained, not conquered, land that Israel did not manage to retain during its War of Independence the Arabs launched on it in 1948. For nineteen years, the land that legally belongs to the State of Israel, as it was decreed by the League of Nations, now called the United Nations Organization (U.N), was illegally occupied by Jordan and Egypt. Jordan illegally occupied the ‘West Bank,’ better known as part of Yerushalayim (Known to many as East Jerusalem), Yehuda (known to many as Judea) and Shomron (known to many as Samaria) and it was Egypt that illegally occupied the Gaza Strip. No matter how one wants to look at this ‘occupation’ case, the land in question is legally part of the State of Israel and demands should not be put on Israel to cede one inch of it to the Arabs. Abiding by international law, the State of Israel can easily state: This land is our land. Following the Arabs baseless claims, one can adjudicate that this land, at present, is disputed land. When judgment day arrives both sides can address their case in point in front of the court of law and unless the League of Nation documents it issued when it announced the establishment of the independent State of Israel turn illegal, Israel will win its case. The Arabs do not hold one piece of legal paper evidencing that any part of the land east of the Jordan River belongs to them. They have ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED this land since 1949 and still illegally occupying it. They are the legal owners of all the land west of the Jordan River only, therefore, they must rescind any part of East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria to the Stats of Israel and go live elsewhere. Ignoring the legally documented facts and instead making baseless claims that are founded on lies and deception and revision and white washing of modern Jewish history, let alone ancient one, will not make the Arabs' point of view or claims effective or right in the court of law. Case closed.

Arab refugee camps and their Arab refugees’ dwellers make a malignant phenomenon in the regime that must be brought to an en and disappear fast. Dismantling these 62 years old refugee camps and [re]settling their inhabitants in any and all the 22-Arabs countries will be a good beginning for a brighter future in the Middle East. These people lost their refugee status three years after they began camping in these camps. The world however chose and still chooses to ignore this reality and with the zealous help of the UN-UNWRA these Arabs retained their refugees’ status so they can act as the front line for the Arab countries' Jihad against Israel. This does not make the situation at all appropriate. The Arabs refugees’ case is the only lingered and mishandled refugees’ case in the history of the UN resettling refugees’ programs. However, such despicable mishandling of refugees’ phenomenon has turn to be ‘all-right’ and acceptable to the entire international community because, remember, there is one set of rules that applies to Israel only. When Israel stops agreeing to abide by this hostile set of rules and demands that the same rules the world ‘plays’ by applies to her too, and then also demand that there will be no negotiations with the Arabs until these refugee camps are dismantled and vanish from the earth the game may tilt in favor of Israel. One thing for sure, Israel’s security may improve a bit. These people calling themselves ‘Palestinian’ refugees must be renamed ‘misplaced people.’ They were misplaced by no other than the U.N-UNWRA with the devout assistance of the Arabs countries from where these people originated, yet were refused by their own homelands to return home where they belong.

Lastly is the issue of Jews building their homes in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as the international community addresses it, Jews are building ‘settlements’ in the ‘occupied territory’ of the ‘West Bank.’ A Jew can build his home in any territory that is legally part of his Homeland, the State of Israel. The fact that others come with a claim, without having any writ to their claim, that it is not the Jew’s homeland and he or she cannot build where he or she wants does not make the case effectively right or enforceable. While the international community continually demanding that Israel must cease building on its land with the excuse that building Jewish-Israeli hometowns is the obstacle to peace in the region, the Arabs are building on land that legally belongs to the State of Israel without any equal demands from the international community. Why is the inequality? Is it because, again, that set of rules that applies to the Jews differs from the one that is applies to the Arabs? If it is so, then shouldn’t Israel insist of a full explanation as to why it is treated so differently from any other country in the world? It SHOULD as the list of witnessing cases is almost endless and continues to grow! Is it by any chance associated with anti-Semitism? For sure, especially when the U.N and the Arab-Muslim block that controls it is involved! When Israel finally decides to put its foot down and tell the entire international community that if the Arabs expanded constructions on OUR LAND is apparently not an obstacle to peace, then our constructions and expansion of our hometowns on OUR LAND is not an obstacle to peace either, then the Middle East tiring political game will begin turning on its axis.

So Dear World, as long as Israel is suffering the world will continue suffering too. As long as the world is an obstacle to the redemption of the Jewish People that began with the establishment of the State of Israel, there will be no progress in the desired peace anywhere on earth. Take it or leave it. It is the world’s choice.

Israel is the mirror of the world and an example to all democracies. This land is the Land of the People of Israel, the LAND of all Jews; it is God’s given land to His children, the Jewish People, which, in 1948 the League of Nations decreed as the Jewish State of Israel to be built on the ancient Holy Land of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob King David and King Solomon.

We pray that Israel holds steadfast and defend itself against all tyrannies and in the meantime Jews-Israelis will continue making the desert bloom anywhere and everywhere on their land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. AMEN!"
