Bad Boy Kurtzer

My Right Word

There are some Jews that really make you proud to be Jewish or an admirer of Jews or a supporter of Jews and their national enterprise of Zionism and the state of Israel.

And then there are other Jews, like Daniel Kurtzer who writes:-

It was only a little over a year and a half ago that the Obama administration demanded a freeze on Israeli settlements in the occupied territories, including even the "natural growth" of existing settlements. At the time, the administration called settlement activity "illegitimate" and appeared ready to go to the mat with Israel to show just how strongly the United States believed that settlements impede peace. But now, the administration says it is prepared to pay off Israel to freeze only some of its settlement activity, and only temporarily. For the first time in memory, the United States is poised to reward Israel for its bad behavior.

And he goes further:

While it's true that the United States has turned a blind eye to indirect U.S. subsidies for Israeli activities in the territories - such as tax deductions for American organizations that fund settlements -

Talking about being blind. The above IRS tax exemption process is legal and proper and no less suspect than certain things that Kurtzer does.

For example, raising money for Israel:

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County's Prime Minister's Council Dinner will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. at a private location in West Palm Beach, featuring Ambassador Daniel C. Kurtzer. Barbara and Jack Kay are the hosts and PNC is the corporate sponsor of this philanthropic evening, honoring donors who contribute $100,000 or more to the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County Campaign 2011...Call Carole-Ann Levine at (561) 478-0700 for more information on attending this event.

Almost a decade ago, Joseph Farrah informed us all that

Kurtzer is wrong for Israel...The man the Bush administration is seriously eyeing for the post of U.S. ambassador to Israel is not only the architect of President Clinton's failed Middle East peace initiative, he is also the brains behind earlier failed peace efforts by Bush's father.

Daniel Kurtzer, now serving as U.S. ambassador to Egypt, was the key figure in the process of formulating the U.S. decision to recognize the Palestine Liberation Organization and Yasser Arafat as the legitimate and sole representatives of the Palestinian people.

During a period of intense terrorism against Israel in 1988, it was Kurtzer, as an official in the State Department, who argued that the U.S. must reach out to the PLO, which he characterized as moving in a "moderate" direction...his track record in charting the course to peace in the Middle East is nothing short of disastrous

Seems its Kurtzer who is the bad boy.
