shabak.gov

March 2011 has seen a significant increase in the number of attacks compared
to recent months: 128 attacks as opposed to 61 in February and 83 in January
2011. During the last year only March 2010 has arecord of 125 attacks,

The increase in the number of attacks has occurred in all areas, but is

towards Israel had taken place, including the launching of Grad rockets
towards Ashkelon and Be'er Sheva.
In the Jerusalem area 42 attacks were executed in March (20 in February), and in the Judea and Samaria area: 36 attacks (as opposed to 23 in
February).

March has seen 6 fatalities: 5 family members had been murdered in a
stabbing attack in Ifamar (March 12), and a tourist was killed in an
explosive device attack in Jerusalem.
27 Israelis were injured, 23 in the above mentioned attack in Jerusalem, 2
in mortar shell and rocket launching attacks (March 19, 23), and one
casualty - an Israeli security officer - as a result of object I stone
throwing in Judea (March 25).

Distribution of attacks according to regions and pattern profile:
Following is a distribution of attacks in March according to regions:

Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem - 78 attacks: 3 explosive devices; 1 small arms

High-trajectory launchings from the Gaza Strip
Throughout March 2011, 38 rockets and 87 mortar shells were launched**
towards Israel (in 47 attacks) compared to 6 rockets and 19 mortar shells in
February 2011 (in 14 attacks).
**Clarification: The number of launchings is the number of rockets/mortar
shells actually launched during one high-trajectory fire attack. For
example: one attack may include a salvo of three launchings, that is, three
rockets/mortar shells, and so it will be counted as one attack and three
launchings.

Comment: MSM has no mention of this; however, let an Arab be killed, then it becomes front page news. Their hypocrisy is so noted.
