Figures from the Israeli Civilian Administration point to an increase in the number of Palestinians given permits to enter Israeli territory in 2012 Or Heller 11/3/2013 http://www.israeldefense.com/?CategoryID=483&ArticleID=2010 A barrier in the Judea and Samaria region (Photo: IDF Website) According to figures by the Israeli Civil Administration, more than 930,000 Palestinians went through passageways into Israel in 2012, representing a continuing trend in recent years. The figures show that tens of thousands of movements were recorded at passageways for the purpose of family visits and traveling in Israel, receiving medical care in Israeli hospitals, commerce and employment for Palestinian workers and merchants in Israel. The highest rise in the number of passing people was recorded during the time of the Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Christmas holidays, when more than 242,000 Palestinians entered and left Israel, compared to just 122,300 during last year’s holiday season. This marks a rise of 98.5% in total. The Civilian Administration worked to upgrade the infrastructure of the passageways, both by expanding the passageways, increasing inspection sections, adding manpower, and stationing measures and infrastructure that greatly assists in improving the provided service. -------------------------------------------- IMRA - Independent Media Review and Analysis Website: www.imra.org.il
An attempt is made to share the truth regarding issues concerning Israel and her right to exist as a Jewish nation. This blog has expanded to present information about radical Islam and its potential impact upon Israel and the West. Yes, I do mix in a bit of opinion from time to time.
