Palestinian terror group Islamic
Jihad is planning to "prepare the next generation of the resistance" by
holding a series of summer camps for Gazan youth.
In a report published Thursday, Islamic Jihad
spokesman Daoud Shibab told Palestinian news agency Maan, "We are
preparing the next generation of Palestinians to protect themselves and
their people from Israeli attacks." According to the report, children
from 6 to 16 are eligible. There are currently 80 participants in the
camps.
According to Maan, the camps including training in first
aid, self defense, civil defense, and how to respond to crises. The
camps also include military training, providing lessons on how to use
the AK-47 assault rifle and crawl under barbed wire, and in one case in a
camp near Rafah, even how to kidnap Israeli soldiers.
