The Weekend That Has Passed

Nurit Greenger | June 10, 2013
Someone asked me how was my weekend, I replied sad. And why?
I first met with Arieh King, the founder of Israel Land Fund (http://www.israellandfund.com/) who is fighting for the entire Jewish nation to preserve the land of Israel, mainly united Jerusalem. He showed me how the Arabs stealing Jewish land, in every place possible, while the government of Israel stands idle and with the Israeli law lacking legislation to combat the phenomenon, chaos leads. An even more serious matter, Arieh showed me that de facto there are eight sections in the east part of Jerusalem that are off limit to Jews, they are Judenrein where no Jews are allowed to enter. Is that anti-Semitism or what? We are talking about undivided Jerusalem while the city is already divides. Why do they lie to us these politicians?
More upsetting is that the government of Israel knows about all this and does nothing to stop it. And since the United States and the EU fund the Palestinian Authority, these governments and their tax payers are complicit to anti-Semitism in the state of Israel.
When Arieh presented this situation to members of Republican Jewish Coalition they were shocked.
It is clear that Israel faces major problems from the Arabs living in the land and only the right action can turn the tide.
Then I participated in the American Freedom Alliance Conference, Europe's Last Stand? There I heard how the EU Commission in Brussels has been stealing from the people their sovereignty, nationalism and their nations state's pride. I also got to understand the gloomy picture of how enchanting Europe is slowly becoming Moslem, transforming from enlightened to backward continent. All those who fought in the cultural movement of the intellectuals, in the 17th and 18th centuries, which began first in Europe and later in the American colonies, are certainly turning in their graves with dismay. And the people in Europe are still apathetic to the phenomenon called Eurabia creeping everywhere.
The weekend ended on a better note at Sinai Temple where I attended an Evening of Stars and Diamonds, a special presentation honoring Eric Diamond, the outgoing president, with Paul Anka in concert.
Paul Anka returned me to my youth when we danced to his popular music in our circle of friends' weekend parties. With a smile on my face from an optimistic past I ended the weekend of much doom and gloom news that never end.
