Meg Ryan never refused to go to Israel. For some reason some Israel newspaper falsely claimed she would be at some film festival, which was untrue. This story has been denied by her official spokesperson twice now, in 2010 and 2012. Give it up already and stop abusing celebrities for either one of the sides.
