Released prisoner claims Executive Forces attacked his home

Gaza – Ma'an – One of the 29 prisoners freed by Israel on Tuesday in the Gaza Strip claimed Hamas and the Executive Force attacked his home and peppered gunfire shortly after his release. Abed Al-Hadi Hassanein told Ma'an that they were aiming to kill and that a female bystander had been injured in the incident. He accused the Executive Force of destroying the tent prepared for hosting the guests who had come to congratulate him on his release.Hassanein denied that he had given the press any statements which could have resulted in the Executive Force attacking his home.He emphasized his commitment to Palestinian national unity, despite his home being attacked. But he said, "I wish I'd stayed in prison rather than witnessing such a devastating scene."

Comment: I guess the Israeli jails aren't so bad after all!
