News stories today from Israel

The head of the Likud party, Binyamin Netanyahu, said that if Hamas fired a missile with a range of 20 kilometers from Judea and Samaria, as they do today from the Gaza Strip, it could reach the Dizengoff mall in Tel Aviv. The spokesman for the U.S. State Department, Sean McCormak said that the United States was concerned about the arrest of Saudi journalist, Fouad al-Fahrein. The latter was arrested last month by the Saudi authorities for having transgressed the laws of the kingdom. 21:28 Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the attack Wednesday morning in Naciria in Algeria. The movement issued a statement Thursday on the internet in which they said that they were responsible for the attack which claimed the lives of 4 Algerian policemen. (Guysen.International.News) In this press release the movement said: ''With grace and under the guidance of God, the attack struck the apostates and destroyed their headquarters, causing dozens of deaths and injuries among the police.'' He called on Israel to dismantle all the illegal settlements in the region.
