Time to Say It Loud and Clear…

Nurit Greenger

The Arabs, in cahoots with the Left, will do whatever it takes to demonize and delegitimize Israel.

One way to do so is to claim that the way Israel treats the Arabs, calling themselves "Palestinians", Israel is an Apartheid system state. Wrong!

South Africa was an Apartheid state; in fact the term 'Apartheid' – in the South African Afrikaans language it means separateness - was invented there. There, the White people and the Black people were segregated by the decree of the ruling White minority. The Blacks in South Africa were inferior, but considered South Africans. The Arabs calling themselves "Palestinians" are not Israelis. They are people who waged a war on Israel, ended losing it, thus, now, living in a territory they claim to be theirs, but in fact it is the Land of the Nation of Israel, which they illegally occupied for 20 years. All Israel did is took its land back. The Black people in South Africa were not completely segregated from the Whites; they did not have their own roads. In Israel, nobody views the Arab-"Palestinians" as part of their country, only the lands they live on and resources.

By re-defining terms in question, the Arab and the Left have mastered an "art" of delegitimizing the State of Israel. Using the term Apartheid is one way. For those of us who live in the real world, Apartheid is defined as “a policy or system of segregation on the grounds of race.” Neither Israelis nor Arabs, not even Arab-"Palestinians" are a race.

But for those who cannot stand the idea there is a Jewish State of Israel, for them Apartheid in Israel is manifested by erecting an ugly fence in order to keep out of the Land of Israel as many infiltrating Arab terrorist-killers, or setting up checkpoints to see that no homicide bomber makes his or her way to kill as many Israelis as possible, or putting soldiers on around the clock duty, all have nothing to do with racism and everything to do with national security. The Arab-"Palestinians" do not have to have a wall to separate them from Israel, or check points, or soldiers on duty because the Jews are not out to kill them or terrorize them.

If we are to acknowledge the real race issue, inherent in the Israeli-"Palestinian" conflict, we need to point out that the Arab terrorist organizations, operating in Judea and Samaria, wrongly addressed as "West Bank", and in Gaza are the groups that are anti-Semitic and want to “drive the Jews into the sea.”

But, the Arabs-Left partnership has its own playbook and its own rulebook; so why not have its own dictionary as well?

Words Matter; Words do kill!

Unfortunately, when it comes to the Left’s so incessantly defending the Arab-"Palestinian" terrorism, words do matter, but definitions do not.

Remember all that when you argue the point.

The Arabs and the Left doesn't have to delegitmize Israel. The Israeli government has been doing a good job of that.

Sure, they are pretty good at smoke and mirrors but you can't fool all the people all the time. Some of us (and it's growing every year) can see through the trappings of this so-called "democracy" to the monster lying just below the surface and it isn't pretty.

Shills for Israel may trumpet that it has Arabs in the Knesset but that doesn't stop the ever expanding (illegal) Jewish settlements from eating up more and more land, slowly expanding Israel's borders, while treating Arabs as second class citizens, or worse. The Palestinians in Gaza and elsewhere are routinely attacked, searched, stopped at check-points and not allowed in many areas that are off limits (unless you are an Israeli Jew). The Apartheid Wall is another example of Israel's tendency to depart from democratic principles.

Anonymous-the same worn out tactic, nothing new in your "playbook" and a desire to remain a phantom. Your mantras lack any meaningful supportive or collaborative data, they are simply "talking points". Never mind that the towns inhabited by Israeli citizens in disputed territory, forgot your history so soon, are not the ones engaged in hostile behavior of stone throwing, tire burning and much more. Your education seems to have left out definitions of English words, oh well, nothing new again.
