Iran rules out limits on oil exports: minister

Tehran, May 8, IRNA – Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said on Thursday that Iran does not accept limitats on its oil exports.

He told reporters on the sidelines of 19th International Oil, Gas, Refinery and Petrochemcial Exhibition that Iran never allows the western governments to dictate limits on the Iranian oil exports.

ˈIran will not accept any figure for its oil exports to be dictated by others,ˈ oil minister underliend, saying that the Islamic Republic of Iran itself determines the amount of crude oil exports.


Asked about the Turkish complaint over the Iranian performance about the gas deal, he said that Turkey has gone to the international arbitration envisaged in the gas contract.

Comment: So...let me get this right-the country to have sanctions against it decides which sanctions it will not tolerat and thus I suspect which one it will? The rest of the international community, hey that is you USA, do you buy this outrageous demand?  Is this also part of the PC doctrine so as not to "offend" an Islamic nation-you know know what this really is, in my neck of the woods we call it bull....
