Iran Responds to Netanyahu's UN Speech
Iran officials are continuing to respond to the speech given on Tuesday by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly. The Iranian news agency FARS cited Iranian President Hassan Rouhani saying that "it pleases us to know that Israel is upset. Iran is growing stronger from day to day while its sword has become dull."

Earlier today, General Hassan Firouz Abadi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian armed forces, said today to the FARS news agency that "Netanyahu's speech stemmed from desperation, and he has established himself as a warmonger."
Abadi said that the option of military force "is a threat which is rusty, antiquated and lacks any stability" adding that his country's nuclear program is intended solely for peaceful purposes.

During his UN address, Netanyahu accused Iran of continuing to pursue the development of nuclear weapons and called for the continuation of the sanctions imposed on Tehran. Calling Iranian President Hassan Rouhani as "a wolf in sheep's clothing," Netanyahu said that any agreement made with Tehran should be one that results in the complete dismantling of its nuclear program.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that "It is the nature of Israel's prime minister to lie. Netanyahu is the most isolated person in the UN."

Khodadad Seifi, Iranian envoy to the UN, rejected Netanyahu's statements, saying that “Israel's prime minister should avoid misunderstanding Iran and its policies - its non-aggression should not be viewed as an inability to defend itself. He should not think of attacking Iran.”

Comment: Not one thing that Mr. Netanyahu said in his UN speech was untruthful-this contrary to Mr. Terrorist sponsor from Iran. Once again Iran is "playing the West"-he knows that the media will report everything he says as though it is the truth.  He knows our media does not challenge any of his absurd statements-they do not fact check-they aide and abet our enemy by refusing to practice real journalism. The facts stand: Iran has "hidden" by going underground with its nuclear development program; it has built ICBM's that can travel to Israel and Europe-soon to America; it daily threatens the existence of Israel; it funds Hizzbollah, Hamas and others killing innocent civilians. If any clear thinking, object based person believes this is the behavior of a reformed administration, then you are either naive, ignorant or against peace loving people.
