Boycott is Better than PA Rockets

Ari Yashar
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said on Monday that if faced with a choice between foreign pressure or a failed compromise with the Palestinian Authority (PA), leading to "rockets from Jenin and Ramallah... on Ben Gurion Airport, then a European boycott is preferable."
In additional, Ya'alon spoke about the Sunday rocket attacks from Lebanon , elaborating on his initial condemnation. He intimated that intelligence reports indicate the attack was carried out by Sunnis fighting the Shi'ite terror organization Hezbollah in Syria, with the goal of drawing Israel into retaliating against Hezbollah amid Lebanese sectarian conflicts.
Ya'alon focused on the peace talks with the PA, warning about the realities of the conflict.
Anyone who thinks the conflict will be solved on the 1949 Armistice lines "is simply mistaken," states Ya'alon. "(PA Chairman) Mahmoud Abbas, who is thought to be a moderate among them, will not dare say that if we reach a territorial compromise on agreed lines that will be the end of the conflict and an end to the claims."

The Defense Minister further noted Abbas will not recognize "the state of Israel 's existence as the national homeland of the Jewish people. Their intention is to achieve what they want to achieve, and to continue the struggle." The PA has already officially refused to recognize Israel as the Jewish state&
The US State Department spokeswoman said Tuesday, Dec. 31, that during last week visit, Secretary John Kerry planned to discuss with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas a "proposed framework" to serve as "a guideline for addressing all core issues," which would not count as an interim agreement. Part of the US 'framework' is a call for 80,000 Israelis/Jews to be evacuated from Judea and Samaria (population transfer) to the big settlement blocs.
Kerry is still Delusional or Aiming for Nobel Prize?
Kerry said that if both sides could agree on a framework for peace talks, a "breakthrough" will have been made. "I plan to work with both sides more intensely in these next days to narrow the differences on a framework that will provide the agreed guidelines for permanent status negotiations," he said. "This is not mission impossible." Kerry has faced fierce opposition, due to irreconcilable demands on both sides.
Netanyahu said he does not believe the Palestinians are taking the process seriously. "A few days ago in Ramallah, President Abbas embraced terrorists as heroes. How can he say that he stands against terrorism when he embraces the perpetrators of terrorism and glorifies them as heroes?" Netanyahu said. (Kerry has made 10 visits to Israel since March 2013 with no progress to report. Nobel Prize must be his objective! Remember, they gave Obama a Nobel Peace Prize for 'intention'.)
On the eve of US State Secretary John Kerry's meeting with PA President Mahmoud Abbas, PLO Secretary-General Yasser Abed Rabbo said that the 'Palestinians' wouldn't pay attention to a "worthless" framework agreement presented by the US. The PLO official dismissed the idea of a land swap that would place Israeli Arabs in the Triangle area under the jurisdiction of a Palestinian state in return for annexing settlements to Israel. (PA wants Jews out of Judea and Samaria but, in order to execute next step of a destruction of Israel plan, against removal of Arabs from Israel!)
Kerry ordered his team to shelve the proposed US framework after he saw the gaps getting wider instead of narrower on the core issues of the dispute. In Amman, he found King Abdullah totally apposed to the integration of Palestinian security and intelligence bodies in security arrangements in the Jordan Valley and West Bank. At the same time, in Amman , Secretary Kerry found Jordan's King Abdullah just as adamantly opposed to any Palestinian security presence on their common border along the Jordan Valley.
Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak
The world did not object when 8,000 Jews were forcefully transferred from Gaza several years ago; international bigots support the creation of a new Arab state on Jewish land (i.e. Judea, Samaria and Gaza) without Jews; there is no 'international outrage' against a recent US suggestion to transfer 80,000 Jews from their homes to accommodate creation of new dysfunctional Islamic terror state. Only one conclusion can come out of this - the 4th Geneva Convention is annulled. Enough with anti-Semitic double standards! If transfer of Jews is acceptable and in line with international norms so is removal of the fake Palestinians, Arabs and others occupiers from Jewish land. Therefore, Israel has all rights to remove enemy population from Eretz-Israel, Land of Israel!
1. The Israeli team in the under-18 division of the World Youth Chess Championship has been forced to compete anonymously. The event, which is being held in the United Arab Emirates city of Abu Dhabi, features the team not under the Israeli flag - but under the ambiguous listing of the Federation Internationale des Echecs or World Chess Federation. 2. In August, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) fined the Israeli team for the Davis Cup, after they refused to play a match scheduled on the holy day of Yom Kippur.
Even Arab MK Support Release of Pollard
Arab-Israeli Members of Knesset have joined the demand for the release of American-Israeli Jonathan Pollard, who was convicted of spying for Israel and jailed 28 years ago. The Arab MKs were among the overwhelming majority of Israeli lawmakers - 106 out of 120, across the political spectrum - who signed an official request to US President Barack Obama for Pollard's release this week.
UN seeks access to so-called Palestinians in Syria after 15 die of hunger. UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) spokesman revealed that five died in the Yarmouk district over the weekend. Ten others have died since September, the last time the UN was able to deliver aid to Yarmouk.
An illegal arms cache was found on Thursday in the home of the PA ambassador to Prague, Jamal al-Jamal, who was killed there in an explosion the day before. The arsenal's existence, including heavy firearms, was unknown to Czech authorities. (PA has been establishing official terror footholds around the world. But the world is silent!)
Killers Released - No Peace on Horizon!
Third group of Palestinian terrorists, including five are Israeli-Arabs (they are all the same - fake Palestinians) , released from Israeli prison. All 26 Palestinians have been convicted in deadly attacks. Dovish (delusional Jewish) supporters of peace talks said the expected construction would destroy any goodwill created by the prisoner release, while others criticized Netanyahu for linking the Jewish settlement cause with the release of prisoners convicted in connection with killings, mostly of Israelis. (How much more unreciprocated goodwill gestures must Israel make to achieve peace - self destruction is not an option! Releasing terrorists is only inflames the conflict.)
There is no Gender or Age Limit for 'Palestinian' Terrorists
A 16-year-old Arab girl attempted to stab a border police officer with a knife near Nablus Gate in Jerusalem on Friday. The suspect is a resident of the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood in East Jerusalem.
The United States has increased its financial aid to the PA, and linked this aid to progress (release of terrorists by Israel is not progress) in Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. The American aid will be increased from $426 million in 2013 to $440 million in 2014, said Maen Rashid Areikat, the head of the PLO delegation in Washington DC. Ahead of the resumption of peace talks, US Secretary of State John Kerry introduced a $4 billion economic plan to revitalize the Palestinian economy. (Even a financial crisis does not deter the US government from helping enemies of Israel!)
Quotes of the Week:
"In Bethlehem, 2,000 years ago, Jesus was born - a Palestinian (Jew) who brought the gospel (he did not write gospel) and became a guide for millions worldwide, just as we, (now is coming a demagogic twist/jump) the Palestinians   are fighting for our freedom, 2,000 years later. We try to walk in his footsteps (aren't they mostly Muslim, who hate Christians) to the extent possible (destruction of Israel)." - PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas - This ridiculous pre-Christmas speech Abbas delivered, pursuing his anti-Israel objectives. Although, he unintentionally admitted that all Jews, considering that Jesus was a Jew and the Christianity was invented long after his death, are true owners of the land called "Palestine" and the PA, Arabs and others are the real occupiers of the Jewish land!

If Iran remains a nuclear threshold state, there will be a Sunni-Shi'ite nuclear arms race, Intelligence and Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz said.
Any agreement with world powers must dismantle Iran's nuclear program, he continued at a conference on Regional Upheavals, held by the Israel and Middle East studies department at Ariel University.
"The Middle East has gone mad," said Steinitz, adding that nobody had expected what has happened in the Middle East over the past few years.
Brig.-Gen. (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser, director-general of the Strategic Affairs Ministry, said people in the Middle East do not understand what the US 's policy is, as it has turned on its traditional allies in the region and drawn closer to Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.
It was bewildering for them to see the US favoring the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt , Kuperwasser said: "Don't they (the US administration) understand that it is a worldwide Islamist organization that opposes the West?" "Precisely when the US position is weakening, it sharpens Israel's position as an island of regional stability," he said. The region is experiencing an "existential war" where the players are fighting for their lives, said Kuperwasser.
Regarding the negotiations with the Palestinians, he asserted that the only way for Israel to guarantee its security after an agreement would be to carry out the necessary security activities itself.
Iran is Producing New Generation of Centrifuges
Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said that Iran is producing a new generation of centrifuges, "and another round of tests will be made before proceeding to mass production." He said that Iran now has 19,000 centrifuges and is "able to produce its own nuclear fuel".
US weapons and Iranian Al Qods officers join the Iraqi army in a major anti-al-Qaeda offensive, the biggest the Middle East has seen in six years. Their aim is to foil Al Qaeda's plan for its first caliphate across the Syrian-Iraqi frontier. (No such alliance exists with Israel in fighting the Arab/Palestinian terror threat!)
