Never Again Means What?

Nurit Greenger

In the era of stupidity we are seeing a bizarre phenomenon of Jewish organizations and movements, all dedicated to destroy Israel by pretending they want to save her. It can be easily called a glorified betrayal.

Today, these Jews, carrying a load of anti-Zionism sentiments, have run out of new ideas of how to disrupt Israel's existence. Therefore, they are recycling old ideas that history has already rejected. And all the while, thankfully, Israel and its people have been steadily moving forward in a steady pace. (http://pjmedia.com/barryrubin/2012/03/30/betrayal-glorified/) Perhaps these anti-Zionism need to watch these two videos, that make the words NEVER AGAIN so much more important and meaningful.

Jewish history attests that Jews are in consistent struggle within themselves, in regards to who they are and their relations with the Land of Israel, meaning, in a slight comic mode,

When the Israelites-Jews were told, "leave Egypt and go into the desert…" they said, "are you out of your mind?", until they were convinced…

When Jews, while in exile, were told "leave Babylon," they said, "are you out of your mind? Eretz Yisrael-the Land of Israel is impoverished and dangerous. You go and we will send money." And the many who remained in Babylon got lost and vanished.

When the Jews were told, just as Hitler started his Nazi hype, "leave Germany," they said, "are you out of your mind? We are German citizens of Mosaic faith. This is our homeland and this is our Temple."

When the Jews were told, just before Hitler's Nazi forces conquered the lands where they lived, "leave Hungary, leave Poland, leave Romania," they said, "Bist do meshigeh [are you crazy]?"

When the Jews were told, "leave the Soviet Union," they said, "Die Sovietishe heimland [Our Soviet Homeland]? Leave the revolution, now that we have achieved equality and brotherhood?"

When the Jews are told, as the Islamonazis are taking overeverywhere there, "leave Britain," they say, "Are you daft?"

When Jews are told, just as life in these countries is becoming more dangerous and unpleasant for Jews, "leave France, Norway, Sweden, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, etc., they say, "How can we afford to live like we do here in Israel?"

When Jews are told, "lLeave America," they say, "the goldene medina [the land made of gold]? The Freedom and the money? Are you mad?"

When friends of a young Jewish woman from Belfast, Ireland, heard she is about to make 'Aliyah [to ascend-immigrate to Israel], they told her, "don't you know how dangerous it is there? A war could break out there any day." And she said to them, "look around you. There is a war here every day." But people come to consider their circumstance as somehow rational and normal.

And though these past 64 years, Israel itself has not seen a day of rest and it is a country that is constantly fighting for its survival, it is also the only place on earth every single Jew can call it his home. Even the anti-Israel and anti-Zionism are welcome there. When they will need to find refuge, Israel will be there for them, with open arms. It is the Jewish Homeland where no Inquisition, no Pogroms or Holocaust can take place. It is a place Jews can defend themselves and they will.

When it comes to Jews the world has not learned or refuses to learn from history. It appears that it is always ready to go to its beastly anti-Semitic abyss one more time. Disturbingly, into that category we can now include a number of Jews who have gone astray.

Today, the Islamofascists and their Leftist cohorts, as well as some confused Jews, are the drum majors of the worldwide anti-Semitism phenomenon and the attacks on Jews.

All Jews must understand why keeping this promise of, NEVER AGAIN, is imperative; it is for all Jews to be alert, trained and armed, well enough to deal with such threats. If we, Jews, do not fully comprehend this, while we are living in constant danger….then!!!

Jest keep in mind how six million Jews walked to their deaths at the hands of the Nazis and how many untold millions of Jews walked to their deaths, throughout history; many, many unaccounted for millions!

Passivity, in the face of aggression is not a meaningful response. A meaningful response is to do as the Torah suggests, "If one is coming to kill you, kill him first"

Though we pray for and say NEVER AGAIN, the time may come that those Jews, who rally with the enemy of the Jews and refuse to see what is around them may not be able to find refuge, in timely manner, in their homeland Israel, thus will be left behind. Take a heed, don’t let it be.
